Hello, we actually purchased your template before and when we re-downloaded it recently to use for another project, for some reason none of the footage or files are put into the template like they were before. I have imported all of the assets but those are not the parts that are missing. Can you help?

Thanks for your purchase! All the necessary files are included in the ZIP, but it’s possible that they did not link to the project. Please check out this quick tutorial to help link the files back to the source.

Okay I tried to follow the video and those steps did not help me get the files re-linked. Also when I open up after effects, it tells me that the files are missing, and usually it would give me the option the “locate” those missing files but it doesn’t. I tried re-downloading the zip but that didn’t work either.
Typically After Effects only notifies that files are missing, but doesn’t usually give an option to re-link files.
What version of AE are you currently using?
Once you open the project file and get past the missing file prompt, navigate to: File > Dependencies > Find Missing Footage.
This will show all unlinked media that the project can’t find. Right-click on one of the missing footage file, and select “Replace Footage > File…”
Then, navigate to Great Outdoors project folder, and find the file you right-clicked on inside of these folders:
http://envato.d.pr/5GBq5H/2AnacjEZOnce you re-link 1 file, the rest should find themselves automatically, since the main path will be regenerated.

Thanks! I did this and it worked for most of the files except two. When I try to replace the graphpaper_01 and graphpaper_02 files it says “Afters Effects error: Could not read from source. Please check the settings and try again.”
It looks like somehow those 2 graph paper files lost their file extensions. Please add ”.gif” to the end of both files, and try again to re-link them.
Let me know if that doesn’t work!

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble relinking the files. I’ve re-packed the project and updated the main ZIP file for this item, which should eliminate any missing or unlinked file issues.
Please navigate to your Downloads page, and download the ZIP again.

Hi it is still not linking the files together. I have tried just about everything. I don’t know what else to do.
Let’s see if we can pinpoint the issue:
1. If you downloaded the updated ZIP file, please make sure the file name is “MotionRevolver Great Outdoors v1.1.zip”. It’s possible you may have downloaded the new file before it updated on the Videohive server.
2. If you do have the most recent v1.1 version, please send a screenshot of files that are missing.

I Just purchased your Great Outdoors Broadcast Package but I’m get this error when I try to upload it. – after effects error: file ‘graphpaper_02.gif’ cannot be imported – this ’.gif’ file is damaged or unsupported. and iv’e tried several times already.

Thanks for purchasing the project! The file “graphpaper_02.gif” is an asset that’s not actually utilized in any of the project’s elements, and therefore not necessary to be included in the project. The project will function perfectly fine without it.
Simply ignore the error and use the project as needed.

Hello,
Before submitting this animation to a potential client of mine, I wanted to know how challenging would it be to slow it down ? Maybe have the video display on screen for 30 seconds or so before moving to the next…therefore changing the duration of the whole project.

Slowing down the animation would simply be a matter of adjusting keyframes and/or extending composition durations. It’ll be an easy customization if you’re somewhat familiar with After Effects.

Yes, all aspects of the project are editable, so you can insert your own logos and other content, as well as change colors, textures, etc.

To change the picture border, simply open the “frame_border” composition, and change it any way you wish.

I’ve been getting a lot of glitching in the video output. It doesn’t happen with other projects. I even own other Motion Revolver templates and it doesn’t happen. Any clue what it might be?
