Not HD… 720p …. very disappointing
Thank you for purchasing… C’mon! 720p means HD, and 1080p means Full HD… While this is H264 compressed animation optimized to only 5mb for youtube videos, web sites and mobile apps.
hi, I would like to ask, if your file got no alpha channel, how can I use to “overlap” on my videos? I need to “key” and delete the black background by myself? (my email: chanhenky@yahoo.com.hk) thanks!
Hey Chanhenky, simply drop this clip over your footage and apply some ‘Blend’ compositing effect as Screen, Add, or Lighten… so the black back will get transparent…

OK….nevermind. I just noticed on the specs for this particular clip it says it does not have an alpha channel… so that ends that mystery hahahha We will tweak it to make it work

with some tweaking it isnt too bad…. we took it into After Effects and we don’t see an actual “alpha” channel there either… does it have something to do with which license you purchase? This is our FIRST experience downloading templates and overlays etc…so i apologize for seeming clueless hahah
We seem to have the same alpha channel mystery with Avid…. what do we need to do to make it work with the alpha channel? He did a lum key but it’s not clean?

ive purchased the effect and imported it into after effects, works well with the blending mode. But i want to export the effect with an alpha channel so I can import it into Avid Media Composer. The alpha works on after effects but I cant seem to export with an alpha?

The trick with alpha channel in Flash is pretty simple -
1. Convert a video file in flv. encoding it’s alpha channel;
2. Convert the imported flv. in a Symbol (!);
3. Place that Symbol on the stage;
4. Follow to Properties (panel) > Blend (menu) > Screen…;
5. Enjoy your Alpha Channel

hi, i just purchased this awesome effect but i was wondering how do you use the .mov file that was downloaded with Flash CS3 AND use the alpha channel? i have imported the video and selected the encode alpha channel feature, but it still gives me the black background…
