I just downloaded this template and when i load it up it tells me After Effects error: Source has no importable streams. Please check that it is a valid video/audio file. So I click ok then it another message pops up and says Adobe Effects warning: 1 file is missing since you last saved this project. Please help me fix these warnings.
Hi, I bought this project and it is amazing, but I have two issues with it. One, is when I try to duplicate the above the shoulder podcast, it is not independent. Meaning, when I change something in the original file or in the copy as a matter of fact, it changes all duplicated layers. The other issue I have is that I cannot find the music in the package to replace. Thanks for the help.

Has any one found a way around the AE errors? (Conversion, Missing Files and Project Locked)
I am getting a few warnings when opening the template. 1) AE: This project must be converted from version 10.0.1(macintosh 64) and will open as untitled project. The original file will remain unchanged. 2) AE Warning: 30 files are missing since you last saved this project. 3) AE Warning: File “UltimateBroadcastNewsPack.aep” is locked. You can’t save any changes to this file.
I am using Windows 7.Intel® Core™ i7-3740QM CPU @ 2.70 GHz. Was there an option to purchase Windows or Mac versions that I missed?

Hi, no everything works the same with pc or mac. 1) Don’t worry about that, it’s perfectly normal 2) 3) can you try to unzip the files and try again?

I did also tried to UNZIP the file a second time. Not stated before, but I am using Adobe AE CS6. Is the template compatible with this version?
Of course, it’s compatible with cs5, cs5.5, cs6, cc12, cc14, cc15….
What other options are there available? Maybe a different Pack?
I am currently Downloading the file once again and after I will attempt to unzip the files again and see what I get out of that. Will post update as soon as it becomes available.
AE (CS6) is unusually slow with this template. Using the News Intro, I erased the text and added a logo to the “News – Main Text”. I did not change anything else. It is so slow I am unable to even view a preview (it moves a frame every 10-15 seconds) and the render process has been running for 40 minutes now with very little progress I am using a mid 2014 Macbook Pro with the 3GHz i7 and 16 GB Ram.

I notice that I get a message when opening it that “this project must be converted from version 10.0.1 (Macintosh 64) and will open as an untitled project. The original file will be unchanged.” I went back and opened the original file to try rendering it without making any changes and i get the same response.
That message is perfectly normal, just ignore it. As for the speed, it is quite heavy template and my advice is to render it out using BG Renderer which can be bought at aescripts.com
I would like to start an elementary school simple broadcast and love this. Would it be hard for me to incorporate your product since I have never used AE?
No, there should be no problems since there’s a video tutorial explaining how to edit this template.

That is most certainly not the case. Did you unzip everything to the project folder?

Hi I just purchased this and it looks great but I can’t seem to figure out how to get rid of the red and the “placeholder” text in certain scenes, for example the On The Phone scene. I’ve turned off all the different layers in those sequences and the red isn’t in any of them. It seems to be an asset in the assets folder and if I delete it it goes away, but the “placeholder” [on the phone placeholder 2 please add your media] text is still there. Please help! -Nick
Oh, well I just realized if I add a video asset it could cover the red and the text…I was working with a video shot that had the background keyed out so the red was shining through. But I’m still curious to know how to remove the red if I ever wanted to.
