Hello, I follow all the steps and read the forum, when I click download map images it only give me a a blank white window and nothing happens? I have resave the file itself to latest version at the same location og the original project file but no luck? Please advise
We updated the template on July 24. Now it gives you a warning message if it isn’t saved properly. Please re-download it if you bought it before that date.
Also please provide me with a screenshot of the location where your project file is saved.
I just downloaded the file this morning only. SO I assume this is the latest version. How can I attached or email the screenshot ?

I think your coordinate format is not correct. It is 0, 044.80619, 20.44692. Please check and re-enter the coordinates in digit two format.

Hello, I love the product and the tutorials. I do have a problem I hope you can help me with. I have imported the sound effects and they seem to work fine and have aligned where they are supposed to be in the video. My issue though is I can not figure out how to control the volume one them. I thought that controlling it at the HiTech Precomp where you import them at would work, but it seems to have no effect. I have to reduce their volume so a voiceover can be heard. Can you please explain to me how to accomplish this. Thanks!

Hi, couldn´t register the Map generator either, because I have no access to our firewall settings and our company will not allow to change them. Any help would be fine! When I fill in API Key and purchase code it says invalid.

No sir.. my connection to network is private and i disabled the bitdefinder antivirus … also restarted the computer to the safe mode with network and tried registering it did not respond … please advise me what to do or send another registering method .
Currently we are working on a new registration method. It is not ready yet. The script is only for to generate map images. If you provide me with the coordinates you want to zoom-in, I can generate the map images for you and send them to you via wetranster. After copying these image files to your project folder, you can go on what you are doing. You won’t need to the script anymore. If you are interested in, send me an email from my profile page with the coordinates.

Hi – I can’t seem to register the script. I copied the key from the text file that came with the download… and then downloaded my purchase code. When I paste those into the registration screen and hit “Register” button, the button turns blue but nothing else happens. When I close that window, the Register button is still there, clicking it opens the registration window but the codes are missing again – so I’m unable to register the script. I use a Mac with the latest version of AE. Any ideas??

I’m not behind a firewall. I have my MacPro connected to my iPhone via tethering to use my cell network. Also, my computer does NOT have any type of work-related firewall software installed. I am running the new Mac OS beta. Do you think that might have something to do with it?
When I click the register button, it turns blue, I get a spinning beachball cursor.. which then changes to a watch cursor… and then it hangs there forever and I have to force quit AE.

Hi, can you give me more information about your os and version of AE? Does it crash with a specific location or any location? Can you provide me with a screenshot when it crashes, please?
I am working on Mac OS Sierra and After Effects CC2017. It doesn’t crash on a specific location, but with all of them from the second location. The script completes the map imaging of the first location and then closes without pursuing. I don’t get any error message, the script just shuts down.
Can you uncheck the second location and try to download map images? Let me know the result, please.
I unchecked the second location, and kept locations #1, #3 and #4 checked but still, it crashes after completing location #1.
I was able to render the project qith intro and outro but only with 1 location, the first one. If I try to add more, the script stops without completing.
I will contact with the programmer about the issue. In order to avoid further delay, I can generate map images for the coordinates that you want to zoom in. So you can keep working with the template. Please send me an email from my profile page with your coordinates.
I found a solution! I have 4 locations to generate but I only checked the first one and hit create map images.
Then I unchecked location 1 and checked location two only.
Etc.
It worked for me without crashing.

You have to save as the project file into the folder where the original toolkit file is in. (Ultimate Earth Zoom Toolkit v3.0\Project Files\01 Ultimate Earth Zoom Toolkit)

After finally working out that you must save file in the toolkit’s project folder (No mention of this in tutorial) I managed to get the Map Image Generator to download the images but when I play it – they’re not there. The video made it look easy but I’ve now spent hours on this and still not produced anything

Thanks for prompt reply but I had already figured that out – that is not the issue I’m having a problem with. The issue is that the Map Generator appears to show that its downloading the images but they do not play – do not appear in Comp window
