Nice :) thanks for telling me!

Hi Phillip,

Great job !!!!

How can i do it longer? i just need one minute.

THANKS

I replied to your mail :)

Hello,

Your template looks great!! I am familiar with Adobe Software but have done little to no work in AE. How easy is this template to use, is it designed for experienced users?

Cheers!

I would say it is designed for users who know AE basics, but it comes with a PDF help-guid that explains how to insert images :)

Hello Phillip,

Your work is amazing. I really would like to buy this version – but updated. In some scene fingernails are not cut. I noticed from 00:26 and 00:31.

Anyway, it is dynamic, live and great music choice. All the best to you!

Milan

Hey Milan,

The fingernails aint cut because those hands are female hands! I used both male hands and female hands in this template. I wont do any changes to that.

However it is VERY simple to delete the comps with female hands if that is necessary.

Phillip

Hi Philip, I’m gona buy it soon for my own project. Female hands should be more beautiful, lol.

Thanks for answer.

Milan

PS: But still I love it, great job! Thank again.

Hi Phillip, I’ll back all the amazing comments of this AE project.. TOP stuff!

This will sound very silly, but I have a project where I want to use this AE slideshow, BUT without the hands.

Will I be able to hide the hands layer but have the pictures come up as they do?

Cheers :)

Hey :) thank you for your interest in this template! You can easily hide the hand-layers and keep the animations :)

How did you do the hands did you shoot this? awesome work!

Yes, I shot it :)

One more question…is the order of the different hand movements (placeholders) interchangeable or are they setup i a certain order because that’s the only order in which they will work? For instance, I will remove the female hands…will that make it strange looking, or will the placeholders still look like there is a natural “flow” from one to another?

You can easily delete the female hands and simply slide the other comps to fit.. They will flow naturaly, but they might not match the music!

Hi Phillip, I noticed your comp is 1920×1080 (1.0PAR), and I need to put video clips of different sizes (eg. 640×360 1.0PAR, 29.97; 624×352 1.0PAR, 23.97; etc) as well as other pics of smaller resolutions that 1920×1080. Will this be a problem? I’m guessing the pictures I will need to scale up (which will probably cause degrading) and as for the videos, do I just drop them in the placeholders and thats it, or will i need to adjust the composition settings for the various placeholders to match the footage?

You will have to scale them up, yes, and you might loose some quality, but none of the footage gets shown in full scale so I wouldnt be afraid of scaling them up a bit.. Now for the various fps I dont really know.. First I would try without doing any comp-changes, then see if it looks fine. If it doesnt, I would try going to comp-settings and edit the media-comps fps to match the footage fps.. But then again the final output is 25fps as said in description..

Phillip, When I put my media into the placeholders they don’t end up with the soft vignetting that your photos have. I can’t see what I’m doing wrong. I used your other hands template without a problem but this one is stumping me.

The help-file does show how to get the soft edges! You have to enable the “preserve underlying transparency” switch for the footage layer when it lies above the matte-layer inside the media-comp..

Hey Phillip

Great work. Congratulations. I’ll use it as a video background/home page. I’m not an expert using after effect, but is a nice way to start it. If you can please give a feedback regarding the following details, it would be great: 1. Do you know what’s the minimum system requirements for render Hands II? 2. What’s the estimate render time?

THANKS in advance! Cheers.

I dont know what the minimum requirements are.. But this project is not too heavy! I created it on a Macbook Pro 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7 4 GB RAM ..

Took 2-3 hours to render in 1080p.

Nice work! :D

But, there are several channels on YouTube that gives out your “Hands II” for free, and some channels do also claim the work for being theirs… Links: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0FUtigyXbM&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56swcgxRqIk&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2l0G2Yk9v0c&feature=watch_response

Just wanted to let you know (if you didnt already) so you can do something about it or ignore it if you want :)

Hehe :P Thanks man, but yes, I already know! Those scumbags! I have tried piracy-submission, but they are still out there… I dont really care anymore, professional customers wouldn’t download free templates.. That would just be stupid..

Great Once Again! This Is One Of The Best Ideas!

Thanks mate :)

When I render the movie, I the first 15 seconds gets “stuck” on the first screen.

Is there something that I am doing wrong or any special settings that I need?

It takes a few hours to render and I don’t want to waste my time again!

P.S. I am a complete AE newbie!

Do you mean the image freezes but the music keeps playing? Then I bet you probably rendered Quicktime Animation? Thats pretty heavy to play on the computer.. I recommend rendering Quicktime Apple ProRes 422 LT!

hey.nice work

when i open the project,it has no background moving hand ,only place holders with 36 color screen (i think) as background, what i have to do

Hey, sorry for late response! The problem is that the hand-footage is missing! You simply have to right-click one of the missing files in the project-menu and reconnect it with the file on your computer!

Nice-nice! ;)

Thanks :)

Hi!

I was wondering how to make parts longer? For example, the hand open up to reveal a photo/video, but I want the hands to stay open longer but to still keep the ‘wiggle’. that’s what i need to do, because the hand closes to quickly to move to the next shot. any help would be appreciated! thanks

great vid!

hmm.. I didnt design this project for that kind of customization, though I do understand why you ask! You would have to time-remap the hand-footage and stretch the tracking-data and fake a wiggle on the hands somehow.. You would allso have to make placeholder-comps longer and edit pretty much everything..

If you aint that good in AE it will be very tricky!

Sorry about this!

Nice work here! Are the audio tracks included in the price?

No, they are not included, but you can find links in the description showing where to buy them from!

Hi Phillip… very nice work !!

can you tell me please if i can save it as a swf file to a smaller resolution??

every time i try to do it the after effects just crop it….

Hey mate! Sorry for the late response! You should try putting the ‘Output’ comp into a new composition with the size you want, THEN you have to select the output-comp layer, right-click, choose transform and FIT TO COMP . Then it wont be cropped..

Thanks Phillip already and bought two one two Hands I hope now the number three :D thanks

Thanks so much mate :)

awesome project…..wish you many sales

thank you :)
