Does it work personally, moving cars? Or are there any complex steps? Thanks

Hello. I’m not sure what you mean by moving cars, but it is supported for any still image! Regarding complex steps, we created the product for new Photoshop and AE users in mind, but it’s still suggested to have a basic understanding of the applications!

Sorry for my English. Ok I was hoping I was also working on motion and not just image. Thanks dear.

Thank you again for your incredible speed and support Thomas! The AE is really intuitive and gives an amazing rendering. A real work of pro. I recommend it strongly!

hello (Purchased with another ID)

i have some question. First of all I don’t know AE very well. (sorry..)

1. How make particle from both side? (like your Rugby player example) 2. I want radiation shape motion. How can i do? 3. I want to delet wave shape in motion.

I’d appreciate it if you could tell me what to control on the panels.

Happy to help! Unfortunately, I only offer support to direct questions about editing the template with a purchased account. I’m happy to answer any questions you have though, just reach out to support@thomaskovar.com with your purchase code, which can be found here: http://motionkit.club/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/envato-purchase-code.gif

Is there a way I can use it for an audio spectrum music visualizer?

Hello. Unfortunately no, that is not supported.

Is it normal for Crop to take so long coming out of Photoshop? I have a Mac Pro Intel machine it was like 12k a few years ago. It should be more than enough to do this but just wanted to know if it’s normal?

Hello. Just to clarify, is Photoshop stalling when you crop your photo, or after you’ve cropped your photo and run the Exporter Action?

If it’s stalling when you crop your Photo, a common issue we’ve seen is accidentally setting the dimensions set to something larger than the original size, not smaller. Be sure the crop is set to 72ppi, as that setting at 300ppi can easily stall out Photoshop.

If it’s stalling out after cropping the results and running the Exporter Action, it’s almost always because you have the crop settings wrong. Double check the image is set to 1920×1080 @ 72 ppi. It’s not required to have these dimensions, but it’s highly recommended.

If I have the original sandstorm for photoshop, do I need to buy this new motion kit or can it do the same thing?

Great question, we are actually setting up a rebate system for buyers who want to upgrade from just the Phtoshop Action (either from GraphicRiver or Envato Elements) to the Motion Kit.

The actual Action itself is not altered, if you aren’t planning on animating the results, the original Photoshop Action is all you need.

Feel free to reach out directly at support@thomaskovar.com and we’ll get you set up with a rebate for the action should you decide to upgrade from the Action to the Motion Kit. Thanks!

Excellent work!

Thank you!

Hey Thomas! Sorry if you’ve already answered this question a million times, but does this plug-in work for videos too or just photos?

Hello, No problem at all! At this time we only support images, as video tends to get into more advanced territory and we wanted to keep these as simple to use/edit as possible!

So powerful and intense! Plus such a great music chosen! Love it :)

Thank you!

i am buying it for a friend how does it work?

Hello, the demo video gives a brief overview of how the product works, but if you’d like to check out the tutorial before you purchase you can view that here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2TrCLhPD2M . As always, if you have any other questions, feel free to reach out directly at support@thomaskovar.com!

I have been able to complete the photoshop portion but when I import to AE, the source and most of the layers are squished horizontally and the animation point is way off.

Hello, it sounds like when you ran the Exporter action, you had ‘Trim Layers’ enabled. Just go back into Photoshop and re-run the Motion Kit Exporter, and when the dialogue comes up where to save the layers to, just make sure ‘Trim Layers’ is disabled.

Yes, I saw it in the dialog box that night. Thank you!

Ok, I read through the comments and documentation… After purchasing… FML… R for real dude? You’re going to limit us to 1920×1080 because you have decided some people’s computers can’t handle it… That’s the lamest thing I have ever heard. The script should look at the input resolution of the inserted image or image sequence and match whatever res or framerate that is… This script is now useless to me if I have to spend an hour changing framerates and comp sizes because you want to limit me to HD 30fps… I am working in 60fps 8K stereo VR 8192×8192… So I need 4K input for my comps…

Can you update the file for people with the correct hardware so it looks at the input res and frame rate? Or make and option to choose frame rate and res? Common you just need to put a VAR there to call… Please?? This sucks having to manually do this

Hello,

Happy to help! I’m really sorry it’s not working out for you – Sevenstyles and I are more than happy to offer anyone a refund who’s not completely satisfied with the product!

Regarding the HD limitation, I can understand your frustration! When we set out to create these Motion Kits, our number one focus was on Photoshop users who are brand new to After Effects, and some users were getting frustrated with the 4K workflow with the Watercolor Motion Kit. So, when we set to work on the SandStorm Motion Kit, we ultimately decided that we wanted it to be as simple to work with as possible, and that included removing the 4K options. That being said, we have considered adding in a 4K option and may do so in a future update.

I think what you may be looking for, as a Pro AE user, is Trapcode Particular, possibly with Pixflow’s Particle Builder script. I haven’t personally used the Particle Builder script, but PixFlow is a very reputable seller on Videohive, and I’ve purchased other products of theirs that are top-notch quality.

I know that doesn’t help you right now though, so again, I’m really sorry about that current limitation. Again, we’re happy to offer a refund, just reach out to me at support@thomaskovar.com and we’ll get it all setup!

Hello Tomas, I have a problem.I work at CS6 and I get the message on color change ,,the command “If” is not currently available.’’ please help

Hello,

Happy to help! It sounds like you are using CS6, not CS6.1, which is required to run the Motion Kit Exporter.

No worries though, you can use the ‘All AE’ workflow if you don’t have access to CS6.1. If you have any other questions, please let me know!

Hello Thomas,

I have a request – is it possible to elongation sequence from 15 seconds to longer time – for example 1 or 2 minutes. If it’s possible I’ll be grateful for instructions.

Best regards Paul

Hi Paulus,

Sure, what I would recommend is to render out the full In/Loop/Out comp, the bring the render into a video editing app like Premiere Pro or Final Cut and slice the video at :05 and :10, then take the middle looping part and place it back to back as long as you need the duration, then re-render that as your final. That way also saves a lot of render time in AE!

Let me know if that makes sense! Feel free to message me back at support@thomaskovar.com.

I cannot recommend this enough!!! Support is great and timely. Envato please give this guy his praises!

Thank you very much! I’m really glad you’re enjoying it! If you have a second, would you mind rating the project? Just go to your Downloads section (log in, on the top-right select your username, from the dropdown select ‘Downloads’). If you’d rather not that’s ok!

Thanks again!

Hi, can i use SandStorm with live action footage?

Hello, at this time the product is only supported for images, not video.

I purchased this today, and can’t get anything to work as it says. I have the latest version of PS and I get boxes popping up constantly telling me to stop or continue without loading, at least 30 boxes, then it just stops.

Hello, when you tried running the action, what was the first error you received? The most common issue is getting an error stating that ‘The command ‘Select’ is unavailable’. It can be caused by a number of issues, but most commonly from your preferences being corrupt. No worries though, we have troubleshooting solutions for this and a number of other errors in our FAQ guide here: https://videohive.net/item/sandstorm-motion-kit/18437528/support

Additionally, Sevenstyles has a master FAQ page that goes beyond the standard errors you might receive, as well as their troubleshooting solutions: https://graphicriver.net/item/dispersion-photoshop-action/7905698/support

Please feel free to reach out directly at support@thomaskovarcom and I’d be happy to take a look and get the issue solved right away!

now it says “The object “layer”Layer11” of layer “Hue/Saturation1” of layer “Curves 1” of layer “Selective Color 1”” is not currently available

Hello, I believe that adjusting the image size issue previously mentioned will solve this issue as well. If not, just message me and we’ll be happy to look into it!

It keeps telling me “The Command Twirl is unavailable” even though I am have the correct version of the action installed. I use Adobe Photoshop CC 2017, I installed the CC Version.

Hello, the ‘Twirl’ error is typically caused by using an image that is larger or smaller than the recommended 2000-4000px at 72ppi. In Photoshop, go to Image>Image Size and check that the width, height, and resolution are within those parameters.

If you run into any other errors, we have an FAQ guide that covers this error as well as several other errors you might run into and their troubleshooting methods here: https://videohive.net/item/sandstorm-motion-kit/18437528/support.

If there’s anything else I can help you with, please feel free to message me anytime at support@thomaskovar.com!

Hi, What If I want to use it for FCPX or Motion 5?

Hello, unfortunately, this product will only work with Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.
