Hi All I just purchased a short video from Envato I Download it and see that is a MOV format. 534 MB I like to use it as a homepage full screen video (with visual composer on Wordpress)
1. Do I need to change the Format to MP4? how? 2. Do I need to make it much smaller size? how? 3. Do I need to host it on the site server or to upload it to Youtube or Vimeo?

I don’t know the specifics of your homepage template, but in general, the file should be as small as possible.
MOV and MP4 are just a containers and it also depends on the homepage template which is the most appropriate.
But anyway, I would make it much smaller in size if it is to be used as a homepage background. There are many alternatives like QuickTime or iMovie (on Mac) or endless options on Windows. I would encode it down to just a few MB.
