Make sure you changed the opacity in “Content -> Rectangle 01 -> Fill 1” not in “Transform -> Opacity”
Hi, I have entered the coordinates for 1 location when I go to download Map Images… the screen pop s-up but says preparing map for the past 30 minutes with a plain white screen… how can I get the images to actually generate and how long should this take for one location
You have to save as the project file to the main project folder (Ultimate Earth Zoom Toolkit v3.0\Project Files\01 Ultimate Earth Zoom Toolkit)

How can I extend the time length of the opening star field sequence?
You need to extend the duration of the “Intro Scene Play” pre-comp. It can be found in “04 PRE-COMPS/05 Intro Outro” folder.
Yes, but it stops zooming out from the starfield image around 12 seconds. How can I extend the length so it keeps zooming out?

Hi, thanks for sending your question. The template has a toolkit which allows you to zoom in/out. You can change the duration of scenes easily. Addressing your last question, the source file of the preview video is also included to project as bonus.

Hi, the direction of the globe changes due to your coordinates. It looks like you must have forgotten update coordinates in After Effects. Please watch “02 Generating map images” tutorial to learn how to update coordinates in After Effects.

Hi MotionApe I was wondering about the end product detail. I want to make a Youtube intro video that zooms on the earth but I would like it to the locations that I am filming in. It would be considered a series as the youtube channel would be about Biblical subjects. Would I have to buy a new license every time I change the location of my filming or would it be considered a series and I would just have to buy a license every year? thank you!
