Thanks for purchasing one of Pixamins templates! I will be more than happy to assist you but first I will need a print screen inside the comp you need to extend. This way I will gets the proper answer. Before the screen shot be sure to disable the “shy” button so that all layers are visible.

1. Make sure you have Elemend 3d Plugin version 2.2 and above. 2. Make sure you have the latest graphics adapter drivers installed. 3. Be sure that you followed the “model installation” steps as described in the dedicated tutorial (included in .zip file) 4. In case you have nvidia graphics card 372 drivers always work!

I am using Mac and use AE 2015. I cant see the devices when opening your project. Instant crash of After Effects when i try to open Element 3D in any of the Devices comp.
Do you know how to fix this..? I’ve copied the Product 7 E3D in the VideoCopilot model folder and removed it. It crashes in both ways.

Thanks for getting back.
1. I have Element 3d installed. It works fine in other projects. 2. I have latest graphics adapter driver installed. 3. I watched your tutorial and follow both ways to locate the model but with no luck.
I guess it’s my mac system is not accepting the file as it should. AE force me to convert the file and possibly it has lost some elements in the converting process.
I tried many ways but it still wouldn’t work. I will try to ask for refund.
Can you please send me a screen: 1. Inside E3D & 2. the vga card details.

It is clearly stated with red letters in the top of the element 3d official page that Intel graphics adapter are not supported at all!!

Are you on a mac or pc? How are you going to animate if your comp is black as stated at first ?
pc.. i don’t want all project .. i want iphone with texture only but be sure before you send the mobile not black in comp
Please be so kind to mention you graphics adapter model. I can’t send you a file with a gold phone as requested. What I am trying to do is help you solve the incompatibility between your system and the E3D template. That way you would be able to have all device color setups!
or if you can send to me iphone folder to add library for element
The library (3d model) is included in .zip file and there is also a dedicated video tutorial concerning the installation.

Everything IS up to date, as i wrote, i use Element 3D v2.2.2 on a regular basis. I can only create a new solid layer, add the plugin Element 3D and load your Device model. It’s all grey thought.
I don’t have time to create something from scratch, i need to start from your project and your usual workarounds doesn’t seem to fix the crash..
My system: MacBook Pro Retina 15 2013 and my GPU is supported, never had any problem.
100% GPU issue. Download & install 372 Drivers (older). Please be so kind to inform me about your progress.
Driver 372 is for Microsoft Windows… I’m on Mac and everything is up to date and works perfectly. I will not install an obsolete driver just for this AE project. I will have to be refund unfortunately.
You are right 372 is a Windows driver, the most stable driver and always work! Nevertheless what is your GPU exact model?
But why do you keep calling the 372 driver? ... for the third time, i am a MAC user, working on a Macbook Pro Retina.
The GPU is in your supported GPU list. It is the NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 Mo, Intel Iris Pro 1536 Mo
There is a work flow to make sure that you are working via the Nvida card and not via the Iris card which is not supported at all!
Without a doubt, AE and Element 3D use the NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M GPU (it’s also written in the top right corner of element 3D). I know well Element 3D.
As i said, i use Element 3D often. Please read my first message again. Thank you.
Last think I need to know is the exact E3D installed version. In order to have that info please pass me a screen shot of the E3D window (the big one not the one in effects menu) Thanks

Really tried to provide a solution for you unfortunately I can’t be more helpfully !! What I already suggested is the “best of” on the internet concerning the E3D troubleshooting and is a solution too.
Maybe a newer computer with more ram and a modern gpu is were you should look to work like a pro for such a heavy duty demands.

My computer is powerful enough and i create some very demanding montages. I will not downgrade my GPU and i will certainly not buy a new computer to run this project. Thanks for your time Pixamins and i asked for a refund.

The template includes only the iPHONE. It is possible to change the device but it won’t be an easy task.
The devices are not appearing. I use After Effects CC 2017.2 on Mac. Please advise how to fix the issue.

WOW!!! In the E3D top right corner is the name of the graphics adapter can you check please.
What I suggest is to download 372.90 Drivers from Nvidia . ATTENTION ONLY 372.90. After that chances are you will have no problem. So disable the “automatic updates” so that wont end up again …... Please be so kind to inform me about your progress.
