Does it tracks and follows the object?
Hi. It has built in keyframing animation tools that helps animating and tracking objects on screen using keyframes. Does not feature automatic tracking.
Does the tracking feature work fully with Apple Motion? Meaning multiple tracking items simultaneously like in the demo.
Hi, The callouts are created and rigged to be used especially with Final Cut Pro X. Editing in Motion it is possible but is not as straight forward as editing with FCPX, and using multiple elements on the same project is not as easy. For the best experience we recommend using the callouts template with Final Cut X, all the features are available, can be used as many callout elements on the image as needed and the editing process is much easier using on screen controls.
Hi, can I use anything in this bundle for a very basic join the dots ONLY type thing? Specifically, I need to create an “Indiana Jones” map-flight path effect, so need to create a moving line that finishes in a dot. Simple, but want to check before I buy… thanks.
Hi, This template can not be used to create the animation you described. If you have Motion, you can fallow this tutorial to create the doted line.
Is the tracking include with this plugin to track objects like in you showcase movie ?
Hi, The template has built in key-framing settings so you can track and animate elements using keyframes by hand, there is no automatic tracking system. The video tutorials included with the downloaded folder will demonstrate how to use the key-framing option to track objects.
Ok thank you. So is it possible with your plugin to fix the text to the screen and only keying the anchor ? I don’t want the text to move once appear. In your showcase, both the text and the anchor move in different directions
Yes, you can keep the text in place and animate only the anchor to follow your image.

Are these editable in Motion and then exportable to Premiere? Or is Final Cut required?
Yes, the callouts can be edited in Motion and than rendered into a video file with alpha channel and that can be used with Premiere.

Is there any way to speed up or slow down the animation of the call-outs in FCPX without motion? Command -R doesnt give me control over the speed.
Hi. In FCPX you can create a compound clip with the callout [Option -G) and use Command -R on that to change the animation speed.
Your instructions say to install in this directory path. /Applications/Final Cut Pro/Contents/PlugIns/MediaProviders/MotionEffect.fxp/Contents/Resources/Templates/Titles
This path doe s not exist in the applications folder. Only the appication itself (FCPX) is in here. There are no subdirectories. So where does it go?
The template is installed into the same directory where FCPX stores the default titles inside the application. For how to access that directory please watch the video tutorial from “Tutorials” folder.
Even though I do not have Motion, I still installed it under the directory as if I did. Works fine.
Sometimes FCPX dos not generate the Motion path so the alternative option of installation is required for non Motion users. But if it dos, it works as expected if installed into Motion path.
I got final cut pro version 10.2, will this plugin still be compatible with that version? Because I can see from the description its version 10.2.2 upwards. Thanks
Hello, This template is not compatible with FCPX 10.2 only with 10.2.2 or newer. It was not tested with older versions than 10.2.2.
I’m a little confused, is the 50 Call-Outs Pack just a one shot one & done deal? I use it for one project and can not use it again?
Hi, You can use the elements of the pack on multiple shots of the same project. Also the license allows multiuse on different projects if the projects are part of the same series, ex YouTube channel, etc. For more detailes about licensing please visit License FAQ on Videohive.
Is there an expiration? I’m not in an immediate need, I’m looking and preparing for a future project and weighing-out my options.
If the pack is used in series of videos there is one year limit per license from the beginning of the series. Otherwise there is no time limit.

Hello, how do you change font type?
Hello, To change the font first you need to enable the “Text Editable” checkboxes, than click on the text you want to change the font to and in “Text” tab you will be able to change the font.

Hello, Yes, you can use video or pictures with the callouts, the only condition is that the video must be at least the sane length as the callout in timeline.
Hi, I am not able to install your script. I have an imac 24 inch early 2009 and current OS X Yosemite. I could not find the Final Cut Pro X in the Application folder. Perhaps apple changed the location?
Hi. If you have Final Cut Pro X installed on your iMac, it is located in Applications folder. Apple always defaults the installation of the any software to that folder. Please send me an email using my profile page so I can advanced troubleshoot your problem.
Is this a plugin for final cut pro x? Does do you install it with final cut pro x?
Yes, It is created especially for Final Cut X. The project contains instructions how to install it and use it with Final Cut X. It requires Final Cut X version 10.2.2 or newer.

I have purchase this and when i upload it on my final cut pro folder click on tex to show 50 call out text it’s there but when i try to adit it on my video its shows that triangle sign which is not working.
Hi. The template is compatible only with Final Cut X 10.2.2 or later and a red error appears if the FCPX version is older than 10.2.2. To fix this issue please go to Apple App Store and update the Final Cut X software to the latest version. Please let me know if you solved your problem and how can I be more assistance.
It’s not working for me. The on screen control is not showing so therefore I can’t edit it properly. Help please
Hello. To show the call-outs onscreen controls: Position the playhead over call-out, or select the the call-out in the Timeline. The on screen controls will appear on canvas. Please let me know if you solved your problem.

Hi just bought the wonderful pack with the new FCP X, I installed everything and it’s working…. BUT the font in the “call out” appears for 1 or 2 seconds with the original Font you select for this pack (exo-2), but after 2 secs it changes (alone) to ARIAL…... and I can not do any thing to come back to exo-2.
If I close FCP and open again... it happens again... initially appears as eco-2... and automatically jump to ARIAL.. please help meSorry… I have fond solution….. when click on the edit check it is possible to enter in the edit text menu and change to ANY font in the mac…. AMAZING !!!!!!
Yes, checking the “Editable” box allows changing the font to any Mac font. If Exo font is installed on your system, automatically will be used.
