I am new to After effects. If I wanted to edit the direction of a flame for example is there a puppet tool I can select to change the direction and are there tutorials of how we can use the generator and fx?

Yeah, you can use a puppet tool to make custom directions, but there’s an easy solution…transform properties (postion, rotation and scale). I’m going to add tutorials for beginners in the next update. However, it would be very simple to find tutorials on Youtube using key words “After Effects for beginners”, “AE puppet tool”, “After effects transform properties”.

I just bought this and the Elemental 2D FX pack. Is it possible to import that pack into the RTFX generator, or do I how do buy the other version? I’m experiencing difficulties and confusements with the “Import” button. What is possible to import, and what is not? I watched all the videos and didn’t get a clear view.

Hi Peter! I’m going to prepare Elemental 2D FX[MIX] for importing to RTFX Generator next week. You’ll see how “import” works. Anyway, you can import Elemental 2D FX pack yourself. Just put FX animations to “RTFX pack/Animations” folder and click “Create” script’s button to render previews, but you can’t mix new animations, because they have another name’s structure. “Branstorm” tool works only with the name contains direction, type of element, and other tags.
