Does this template allow one to simply view a particular location of earth from space without necessarily zooming in? I know you offer another template for this, but it doesn’t include any zoom in/outs. Does this template support both – or ONLY zooms?
Hi, the template allows you to zoom in/out as you know. But also you will have the source file of the preview video. I think you can use the scene at 1:20 for this purpose.
Would I be able to rotate the earth to a specific coordinate?
You will able to rotate the earth independently without zoomi in/out. The coordinates won’t work for that file. So you have to do it manually.
Hi, It is really stunning package. I have only question here: is it possible to move on the last level to an adjacent place at the same city without zooming out to full earth image. For example I want to move from A to B coordinate at the same cite which is only few miles distance between them such as what we see on the news report.
Hi, If you want to move from one coordinate to another, you have to zoom out to space level first. This is the way how the toolkit works. So, it is not possible.
Regarding to move from one coordinate to another without zooming out to space level, do you have any other kit that can help in this to be purchased. Thanks
Sorry. I have no other toolkit but can you drop me an email please?
Having issues with chrome nimbus app. It screenshots with the sidebars and doesn’t render them correctly.
Hi, I suggest you to check the capture option. You must select the Entire Page option. If problem persist you should update the browser and the add-on. Or you can try another add-on for Firefox.
Very Professional. =) Guitarnation
This is schega calling … how could I select an airplane symbol flying from one location to the next instead of zooming in and out through the clouds? your Feedback would be much appreciated, thanks
Anybody time to support me with an answer? Maybe?
Hey, Fantastic project, having a bit of trouble zooming down to a certain level then stopping to place points of interest then zooming in once more closer to a location, can this be done? any help would be amazing, thanks
Could you please send me an email from my profile page.
Can anyone tell me how I can animate the rotation of the earth?
You must use offset filter on the texture layer in order to animate the rotation of the earth.
Hi. My Map generator its not in the Folder…
Im struggling with sound, i have the sound added the sound files as per instructions in tutorial and they work fine in library pre compms but are not working in main render comp
apologies firstly for using my none purchasing account was logged to my personal not my companies account i just realized its my mistake theirs no audio on the intro all other audio works fine. thanks any way
HI. I would change ”zoom-in level” to 0.5, 0.4 and less.
Level 1 is the maximum level that you can get.
cool
The zoom map tool doesn’t appear to zoom into the correct location (I’m using Firefox). I’ve supplied lat/long from Google Maps and Bing, yet the tool is about 1000 ft to the NW at Level 7 and 8. I assume I should be able to center on any coordinate?
There is a scroll bar on the browser. Just ignore this and export the map images as shown in the tutorial.
Yes, I was trying to pan the view by dragging the mouse before I noticed the scroll bars! Also noticed from your video that the map grab tool shows the upper left map tiles by default but, as you say, just exporting the images as per tutorial works anyway. Thanks, result is looking good now.
Wonderful project! Great performance!
I followed your instructions for Chrome/Nimbus but my screenshots are split with a white line in the middle as others have seen making them useless. Please help.
Hi MotionApe,
First of all, thank you for this great project!
I have a question about smoothing out a zoom motion. When the zooming starts, it gradually speeds up, but when the zooming stops, it comes to an abrupt halt. How can I edit this?
Thanks in advance!
If you want to remove that effect, open the related scene settings. Then select the “Visual Settings” layer and uncheck the “Camera Lens Distortion” option. That’s it.
Love it..It would be nice if you have the sunrise intro portion(your other AE Project) as part of this template. Thanks
Hi, thanks for your suggestion.
Hello, I am sending you an email with a url to the video showing you my issue. but it is layering the map images (as I do not know how to describe the issue) so that you can see a big lake, then a smaller lake, then a smaller lake…etc… I am using the nimbus screen capture and that is not in the tutorials, but I have tried using “visible part of page”, “Entire Page” and “Selected Area” (even though that did not actually capture anything. Finally, I tried using snippit to capture the same size image… Anyway… Please check you inbox and click on the youtube url to see what I am referring to…
Hi, I have just replied to your email.
In drilling into the template, it looks like the map layers are not placed properly. If I unhide the render comp, then unlock and dclick ZoomIn 00, then dclick Zoomin 01 Pre, I can then transform scene 01 Level 02, scene 01 Level 03, scene 01 Level 04 to line up properly with the underlying map. HOWEVER, then the “anchor point” of the “final zoom” is not where it needs to be… (man, I hope this makes sense..) To try and make sense of this… The Scene 01 Level 08 is now to far North or the final destination of the zoom is to far North… I can only go as far as scene 01 Level 05 before the actual location is no longer in the screen… Hope this helps
Replied to your email… Thanks for the quick response
Hi, Is it possible to change the zoom-out level of a scene. (So it doesnt zoom out to space but just a little bit because the Places are close to each other)
Hi, it is not possible to change the zoom-out of a scene.
Can I use this in more than one youtube video on my channel? Thanks
Yes, you can.
Hey i would like to zoom only to country level, is there a possibility for that?
Hi, if you set the zoom-in level to 1, you will get the result you wanted.
