hi, ended up having to just buy this because a client bought the character kit and handed it to me to work with and it is so insanely slow on the latest version of AE CC that it’s just unusable.

The Pictogram Character Kit is an After Effects project, so you can modify the animations as you want. You can customize your characters to look like these Executives, and make your own animations on it using different accessories in his hand.
The Pictogram Executive Loop is a kit with pre-renderized footages with alpha channel that you can use as you need in differents softwares like Premiere, Sony Vegas, After Effects, but you will use it as it is, you can not create new animations, you can just use the animations that is included in the Kit.

thx so much for your answer. which versions of the mentioned programs are required in order to edit the executive loop? i have an adobe cs4 suite (which includes both premiere and after effects). would this be sufficient?
Hi! You can use Premiere or After Effects to edit it. When you buy it, you will get MOV files that you can drag and drop on your timeline, and change the background as you need. Adding some effects you can even change it color. CS4 in this case will not be a problem.

Unfortunately not, I wasn’t able to downgrade the project to CS4. Actually some features available from CS5 helped me a lot to make this project possible.

thx. i’ll try working with the executives on cs4 and in case that’s not enough i’ll consider getting a trial version of cs5 in order to get the whole pictogram character kit.
sorry for botheriing once more: can i eventually combine the business woman and the business guy and have them interact with each other if i buy both kits?
No problem! Yes, you can place two footages in the same screen at same time. But its interection will depend on whats your idea. Remember, they are only footages. If you need to change an arm position you will not be able in this case. But you can combine than as you want.

Hey, maybe try this: Download the preview file from booths products and on premiere or after effects try to create this situation that you need. If it works than you buy the products. It will help you to figure out if it will work or not…
hm. it doesn’t actually download the preview when i klick the button. all it does is open another media player to show me the mov file…
Maybe the option right-click and save as.. Can solve this issue
