I just purchased this. i wish to add the text over an existing video however I cant seem to render without the coloured background. I cant seem to set alpha so that only the graphics & text appear above the video. How do I do this?

Presales question. I have a Mac. What software do I need to for TypoKing to work on my computer? What prior experience do I need to run this? Also, can I make multiple videos or only one. I’m confused by your regular license agreement. Thanks

You need Adobe After Effects and you need to know basic knowledge of working with After Effects.
You can create multiple videos with regular license. It’s a toolkit and you need to purchase once.
Hey, I love the project. There are enough options to last a life time and the script is a very original way of making changes easily. On top of that, all I do is convert my Premiere clips to AE comp and link it with the project and I have everything I need.
There is one problem though. I have a very good PC. Top of the line with 32 GB DDR5 but I am finding the rendering for this project quite long. Is there anything I can do to minimize this? While making changes, choosing which comp I want to use and even after deleting parts to shorten the comp—the rendering is still long.
Any help would be much appreciated.
It seems like I am having another issue as well. A lot of these compositions such as Corporate II – 11 work fine on the Full HD composition, but once you open them up they seem bugged. Using them on footage is impossible.
Something looks a little off. If I could get some assistance on these issues it would be greatly appreciated.

1) TypoKing has different typos with different render time. Some of them renders longer, because of 3D system, details and other reasons. So I suggest you to disable motion blur to make them faster.

We make multiple video products yearly, for sale via streaming, download and DVD. What license would I need to use any of these, on any video, at any time? All sales are through our internal eComm department.

Yes, you can overlay text compositions on any other pic/video.

I downloaded the project, but i can’t get it to open. i get is a bunch of errors – “ATM parse Error” and “unknown BIB error” everytime i try to open it. I’m mainly using AE CC2014, but i tried older versions as well. I even tried opening the project on different computers with no success. Maybe the file I downloaded was corrupted? Please help!

Please first update your After Effects to latest version (13.7.1). Also if you give it a time to load, it will show you the scene after a while (around 30 seconds after opening the project).
Hi – I am trying to figure out how to use typoking without a background – I can get to the point where I can layer it as a solid but cant get the background off so I can see my video in the background- im new so be nice
Typoking use “guide layer” as bg. So actually it doesn’t have any backgrounds for rendering. please send us screenshot from your problem and we can be more helpful.
I just bought TypoKing. Installed on AE CS 5.5. Put TK assistant files in location specified. It does not show up under the “Window” tab. However, I can locate and run it under File/Scripts/Run Script File. It opens the panel but has a red X and says “This script works only with TypoKing project.” When I opened the project, it backwards converted from windows 10 to windows 7 and I named the project TypoKing.aep as in the original. Help getting the script to run please.
Project name doesn’t matter. Please check that you placed it in “ScriptUI panel” folder, not “Script”. Please take screenshots from your problem and mail it to us.
Thanks so for your quick reply. Re-checked location. It was in the correct location, but in the wrong version of After Effects…I didn’t realize that I had another (older) version still installed on this machine. Problem solved. I’m red faced, but looking forward to working with the product.
