Can I reveal poster, I have PSD stuff that I would put over projector to canvas … not sure can I reveal whole photo with this plugin, effect.
The particles has its own alpha channel, so what ever you put below the partilcle layer , it will be revealed, though you need to adjust the scale of your psd to fit within the boundary of particles or you can use some mask feather approach to reveal it smoothly. Thanks
That would mean that if I have 1920×1080 graphics, it would fit on lower scale for boundaries … I got it. Thing is that I would reveal it smaller then zoom in to full size, do you think that would be possible?
Absolutely possible. You just need to animate the scale of your psd .

Is it possible to use the smoke for another project instead of a logo reveal. In other words is it layered so i can grab the animated smoke and drag it on top of another layer?

Hello. I replaced the “envato”-logo with my own .eps-file, following your instructions. I also activated the “continous rasterizing”-button. But I can see artefacts (stair-steps) at the contour of the logo. Any ideas on this?

I get a bunch of load errors on v11 of AE. Couple of missing plugins and a reference to a “flares” effect that isn’t included.

you need adobe after effects to open edit and replace the files and render it through after effects as a movie then import in Imovie

I have After Effect from CC 2014 and I get a message saying ” This project contains 1 reference to a missing effect. Please install the followin effect to restore this reference (“Optical Flares”). Could you advice me ?

Every time I try to render this AE immediately goes into Not Responding, freezes and then after a few minutes is says job completed but the file is corrupt.
What could be causing this?
I don’t have video co-pilot installed if that makes any difference.

Yes, you can use psd or other bitmap files as well.
I’m new to After Effects but have managed to put everything together in the logo – thanks to your tutorial – but I would like to change the color of the font in the tagline and add the music track. I’ve already purchased the music track. How would I do that?
For the color of Tagline – select the Tagline from main comp then follow this Effect>Generate>Fill and choose the color that you want. Import the Music track as you have imported the logo, drag and drop it down to the main comp. and now its time to render, make sure you have checked the audio output(should be at very bottom of the render setting window) .

If it helps I’m using Creative Cloud After Effects 2014. It doesn’t seem to matter how I change the color of the text, it still ends up black in the rendering.
Nevermind. Figured it out. If I highlight the layer in the main comp and then go to effects, I can change the color. Thank you again for a great job and all your help.

At the bottom of the main composition is the bg layer, simply put your video footage at that level where the bg layer is,
the zip file contains tutorial as well, so you can follow along,.
