I am new to building graphics. I have purchased motion and have built a few things with the help of tutorials. Can I purchase this, open it in motion, update names/color, and then export it for use in iMovie?

Hello, Yes, You can edit the template in Motion, edit the name and color and export it as a movie file to be used with iMovie. You need to export the movie with alpha channel from Motion
