hi, does this work with after effects cc 2020?
Yes! Adobe software is backwards compatible, and in nearly all cases, newer software should open older project files. You may receive a message stating the project was created with a previous version, but all you need to do is click OK and save the file.

i figured out how to fix it. i just had to go into the DONT CHANGE FOLDER and replace the optical flares.mov file. the file was in the footage folder all along as it should have been, but for whatever reason after effects didn’t recognize it. this may have been because when i initially open the project it says it has to convert it from 8.0 (macintosh intel). either way everything is now working perfectly. thanks for another great after effects template!

when i open this project in cs5.5 it tells me i’m missing two files. all of the flares appear to be missing. any ideas? thanks
