very impressive job buddy
Can you zoom to a “low enough” level where you could fly through on a city street? I’m looking for a zoom in tool to get me low enough to where I can then cut to more of a street level view. I need that elevation to be such that a e.g. a city hall tower would be recognizable and I could then use a detail shot of city hall in the next scene.
Hi, You can see the closest distance that you can get in the preview video.
Hello, I think you should check the coordinates in “Coordinates” pre-comps. It seems the coordinates are wrong.
Please send me an email from my profile page. I’ll need the project file is uploaded.
Hi, Thanks for this amazing toolkit! I have one problem and that is that the last level ( level 8 ) is rotated. It is not like the picture with the north side up. How can I solve this problem?
Nice template!
Yikes! The map images folders are empty. Please help!
Please watch the video tutorials.
The video tutorial explains it all in excellent detail. I’m sorry for the annoying premature message. I’m racing against a tight deadline and tried to go headstrong into it without watching the tutorials.
Not problem.
Beautiful work! Great! GLWS!
hello motionape! great title. am stuck at the coordinates bit, i’ve inputed this coordinates, and extracting the 8 x images are fine, but all the 8 images have the same coordinates as i’ve placed. not sure what did i do wrong. please help. thank you
Hello, when you click on any level buttons, the coordinate doesn’t change, only the image zooms. So click on level buttons, screenshot and save as an image. Keep on as in the video tutorial.

ah thanks a lot i finally got it now! also, i get an aftereffects error: file ‘Clouds.mov’ cannot be imported – this ’.mov’ file is damaged or unsupported. is there a workaround for this? most files are affected except Lens Dirt/Optical Flaes/Screen Matte which are okay. i tried to replace footage for the other files but the same error message pops up again
I recommend that you uninstall and install QuickTime. Also if you have third paty codec pack, you should uninstall it.
Mm I didn’t install QT in the first place on my Win10, that might be the issue. anyway, other than installing QT, due to recent security concerns highlighted, could we possibly use other software or workarounds for this purpose?

nvm i found a solution that doesnt require one to install QT. thanks!
Can you tell your soulution please. It may help other customers who get the same problem. Thanks.
hello! mm i converted the mov to mp4 using a free software available online. then i go back to the individual footages originally in mov on AE, and then replace footage (ctrl+H?) and link it to the new mp4 files. i’ve not tested it fully by rendering (rendering takes a long while on my laptop sadly) but i could see the videos now in preview mode…
i have no knowledge of this, nor know how to use it, is there any way, you can create a video for me? if so, i’m willing to pay, please let me know!
Hi, currently I am working of the update. When I’m done with that I can help you.
Amazing work dude.
How can i add country (Kuwait) outline as google maps shows and area and street names. Please send me the reply to my email utopianarch@gmail.com
Great! GLWS!
But now I tum,bled over another problem. The final rendered image of the compositiuon (i.e. Level 8 ) is not oriented the same way as the original image which can be very annoying (and is in my case) if you display maerkers and are used to see the map in a certain direction (f. example North up). To my understanding this is due to the way tzhe Zoom Pre composition is rotated in the Zoom composition to have the 0’° atz start when the globe is seen. The final frame is then rotated by 145°.
I found an easy way to compensate this by going to the Zoom…Pre composition and rotate the parent “Camera control” layer so that all layers are rotated such way that it compoensates the 145°.
But this has two problems, fiurst being that expressions need to be added to reorient the stil images in the Background compositions to allow for correct alignment of th eelements added, And second, the actual scene of th elast layers uses the actual aniomated rotation of the Zoom comoposotion (Zoom Control).
My second guess was to modify the “Scene xx” rotation expression to compensate the rotation. But this appears to be tricky if contionouus rotation is used as the total time of the scene needs to be known (from the render composition I guess) and I don’t know how to achieve this.
Also any text in the Background scene has a wron orienattion due to the rotation.
Any suggestion is welcome. Maybe in a future version it might be possible to either get an true/false option which would end with th elast frame to be oriented as the original image (i.e. 0° total rotation) or (proibably easier and better) a slider allowing to adjust the final frame angle.
I hope that all this makes sense.
Ok, I think I found a solution by assuming the “Pre” rotation is fixed at 145°, I modified the “Scene 01” composition rotation forumula to “create a coninouus rotatioon offset” (cro) to compensate the rotation (cro=.. line added to existing expression as well as “-cro-145” into the final value computation:
cr = comp(“Scene Settings”).layer(“Scene Settings”).effect(“Continuous Rotation”)(“ADBE Slider Control-0001”);
cro=(comp(“Adjust Durations (Render)”).layer(“Time Settings”).marker.key(3).time-comp(“Adjust Durations (Render)”).layer(“Time Settings”).marker.key(2).time) * cr
comp(“ZoomIn 00”).layer(“ZoomControl”).transform.zRotation.valueAtTime(“11”)-cro-145 +time*cr;
Hello, I justz bought this template. After opening it in AE CC.2015 I get an error about 12 expression errors. It seems that as a resulkt of this the “Local settings” in the Intro seem to have no effect. I am not sure if this may be related to the fact that I am using the german AE version ?
Checking for example the first error it tells me (translated to english): Expression deactivated, Error in line 1 in Property ‘Size’ of Layer 17 (Box Stroke 02) in comp ‘Contents 01’, property or method “Rectangle Path” in class “Group” is missing or does not exist. This has to be replaced by the german name “Rechteckpfad:” (with the colon) to work. Does this mean that exprerssions are not compatibile among language versions ?
Ok, translated everything and no wit works. I read about a tool to make this automatically. It’s a shame one has to pay 50$ to get this done for a product like AE. Not a shame for the producer of th etool, but for Adobe who should have a solution inside AE.
Thank you for your comment. I fixed the issue by modifying the expressions.
Hi, great template! I’m working on a project which requires the zoom in and out, but also I need to have some footage of the earth just rotating. Is there a way to make the earth rotate slowly within the template and then link that to zoom into a new location? I guess what I need to do could also be achieved by slowing down the rotation if that is possible? Many thanks
Hello, currently I’m working on the update. I read all request and feedback. I plan to give some control the user about the duration of the sequence after zoom out and rotation of the globe. But now I can only give you an AE project file that you can rotate the globe as you wish. It won’t be possible to link that to zoom into a new location.
Hello! I purchased your project and found it quite easy to edit and your tutorials were very well done. I do have a couple of questions. My first rendition consists of 8 scenes so I don’t need #9. How do I remove #9 and keep the final “outro” in #10. I moved the scene slider as you indicated but I am concerned about losing the ending. Also, I purchased the music. How do I put in? Under the “Adjust Render Durations” comp? Thanks and great job.
Hello, thank you for purchasing my template. 1) If you set the “Total Scenes” value to 8, the outro will start after last zoom out. If are there any problems with this part, please send me an email from my profile page. 2) You must import it into your project and drop it into “Adjust Render Durations” composition. It may be edited to fit your video.
Thank you kindly for your prompt response to my questions. Have an awesome day.
you have template aep file for exactly preview file? for example the template file that if i render i get exactly like preview
Actually the preview video is not only one aep file. It consists of many rendered scenes. The toolkit allow you to make movies like the preview video. The project files of the preview are not included because of the file size limit.
it is so important for me if you prepare a file for after render i have video exactly like preview, it would be so usefull and greate for my business, and also for limit file size you can send me file in other ways like email
The project files are not ready for sharing. Currently I’m working on the update of this template. I’ll to try to add the project files of the preview in the next update. Please check it out a few weeks later. Thanks.
ok, also i could pay more if its necessary cause i really need that preview file
Hi, I have just bough this Template, Just wanted to ask is there a way to stop the earth from rotating as we are zooming into a specific location?
Hi I need help adding Animated text. I added two (2) “animated text 3” to overlay. But whenever i change the text of either one.. both changes. Is it possible to have more than 1 animated text of same type on the same map ?
