Hi, originally it’s not implied but you can change the duration by adding or deleting slides. To decrease the length is easy: just delete unnecessary compositions from the timeline. To increase the length you can duplicate slides with a help of a True Comp Duplicator script. It’s free at AEscripts(put 0 in a price field while purchase). But it requires some basic AE skills.

There are two versions of a project included: the Optical Flares + Element 3D version and the No Plugins version. Use the “v2_Cinematic_Slideshow_No_Plugins_version.aep” project file and you won’t have any plugin alert boxes.

Hi! That’s great you’ve managed with the plugin! This plugin is being sold by “Name Your Own Price” principle. There was 24.99 by default but you cold type in any price.

How many compositions do you have in your slideshow? And what version of a project do you use? The plugins one? What resolution do you render in? What codec do you use? What is your computer configuration?

Such a great amount of render time means that something is wrong. I rendered this project with all the plugins in 1080p on my i5 3570K 16Gb RAM for about 30 hours.

I’m using a Macbook Pro i7 with 16GB of RAM. The version of the project has no plugin. The version of After Effects is CC 2015. In the project there are 25 slides and the resolution is 1080p.

The rendering time it seems to requiere is 56 hours !!!! for a basic slideshow!!

Since I have a deadline (tomorrow) this product is unusable for me (and for that matter, I don’t see how it is usable for anyone who is a busy professional and needs to deliver results on a reasonable schedule

There was no indication when I bought it saying that the rendering time is FOREVER. Have you been honest you would have mentioned it on your product description. This product is a joke and I want my money back.

What happened with the 14 hours? I understand, your deadline is burning, and I’d like to help you somehow but that’s neither my project’s fault nor mine.

It wasn’t promised that the project will render incredibly fast on your Macbook (which is really great and expensive but not the best rendering machine for sure) in 4K or it will fit exactly your deadline. The promise is in final image style and it is being controlled and guaranteed by the ENVATO staff. And this promise is kept. The same situation is with game developers for example. They guarantee you the full game experience they’ve created and not the fact that game will run with Ultra settings in 120 FPS on your 5 years old PC. Awesome technologies and image quality require lots of computing power. That simple.

It wasn’t mentioned anywhere that the slideshow is simple. It is pretty optimized for an enormous amount of scripts that are used to make the customization as simple as it can be and such a great amount of 2D and 3D elements used. Elements that you liked and because of which you’ve decided to purchase it.

It wasn’t also written anywhere that it renders fast. So it means that it’s not. Nobody in any way is tricked or fooled. So wasn’t you too. Among all the projects I’ve ever seen or created it takes an average time to render. Neither as fast as simple 1 layer slideshows nor as heavy raytrace 3D projects. As for a busy professional, it should be obvious for you (by looking at the image and reading the description) that the project is not as simple as you say.

To fasten the render, I can only suggest you to use the no plugins version of a project with all the pre-rendered elements or to use a cloud render farm. It can help you to solve the problem with a bad time management.

And for your satisfaction, as far as I remember, Envato provides the cashback service, so you can get your money back.

(4k is a shooting format, when it comes to screening, no one screens slideshow on iMAX) who buys your slideshows? people who want a nice looking slideshow and don’t have the time or patience to design it themselves. THESE R YOUR CLIENTS. Now don’t get me wrong, I have selected your project out of dozens of others since I think it looks great. But please, have a normal HD version next time. I only need it for mobile…
