I believe I have already answered to your email a few days ago. Please check to see my answer.
But in short, from the description you have sent me it appears you have not unzipped all the files from the project. Basically, once you have downloaded a zip file from videohive, extract everything in a folder on your computer, then install the fonts (links are in the description), then open in the project in After Effects.
Do all the steps above to verify if you still get the issue.
If you are on windows, the zip file will appear as a (slightly modified) normal windows folder. Once you enter inside and you double click the aep project file, After Effects will open the project but will not know where the assets file are. SO no double click on the project, make sure you actually extract all the files from the zip

Actually I don’t know how to help you apart the steps I’ve mentioned above. If you follow the steps, the issue should be resolved and you can customize the template with your content
If you resolved this issue but you get a different problem let me know. Note that I can’t help you with the customization part as this topic is out of the purpose of this comment area, and also because in the zip file there is a video tutorial, that show exactly what step you have to do to add your content correctly
