HI. I have problem for changing color of comps. you made color set up comps but it dosen’t work
My program version is 2020. I guess it was version isue. Please help me asap!
Hi, to change the colors, please use the comp called “FCP Global Color”... Also, each comp type has a comp with the words “COLOR SETUP,” where you can customize the colors further… Refer to the tutorial videos for more details. You can also email me with any questions you have.
The Intro tutorial covers the color controls for the project
Hi! I’m purchacer of your ‘Full court press’ tamplet on Videohive. I’m very satisfied in your tamplet
And I have one more question. I want use stop court video and reduce or remove the flares. But I can’t find that.
Please help me. Thanks!
Hi, to reduce or remove the flares, you will need to push the “shy switch” on each composition. This will reveal the flare layers (each one is made of 3 layers, including “__Glare Bar”). You can change the opacity of these or turn them off altogether.
I’m not sure what you mean by “stop court video.” Please let me know if I can help with anything else!
Good afternoon, I purchased your project, it looks fantastic. Just started working on it now. My question is like many others regarding the “flares”... on the LOGO center court.. I replaced the Envato logo with my own… however the light or flare?? is so bright it washed out the logo a little. I have searched the project for a brightness control or at least something to bring down the lighting on the center court logo but am unable to find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m on a crazy deadline. Thank you. I’m working on section by section beginning with F-Flythrough Cam J.
Sorry for my delayed response. Please send me an email and I will try to help as best I can. Please send an image of the issue you’re having as I am not quite sure what might be the problem based on your ddescription. thanks, Garrett
I am having trouble rendering the fly through comps. I have no idea how to follow your instructions on the support page. I don’t know what they mean. Please help! I have tried both the media encoder and the render que. I am only doing one scene at a time. This is so frustrating,
Sorry you’re having trouble- I sent you an email.
I wanted to post to say Thank you for your quick reply last week. The screen shot was very helpful and everything rendered just fine after I followed your instructions. My project looks great! Thank you!
I’m happy to help! Let me know if you run into any other issues.
After Effects tells me that this file contains more than 250 syntax errors. When I send to render it is blocked. The problem is not my computer, which has a lot of capacity, nor the program, which I have the latest version.
I bought this file because I wanted to make a corporate presentation. After dedicating hours of my time to adapt it to my needs, I rendered and it was blocked.
I have tried many ways to solve it, but you can not.
How should I proceed to request a refund of the money?
This file is damaged.
Hello, sorry you are having trouble with this file. I have not heard of anyone encountering “syntax errors” with this file as long as they are using the English version of the program- can you send me a screenshot of the problem?
What compositions are you trying to render when you receive the error? Are you rendering from the render queue or from the media encoder? Have you tried to re-download the project and render from a fresh copy?
I recommend rendering from the render queue, in an image-sequence format; and be sure to render each comp separately, not the entire project at once.
Some users encounter problems with certain compositions due to the lens flare layers- please refer to the “support” section where specific fixes are explained for these compositions.
If you can give me more specific information I should be able to help you render it out successfully. I’m confident that the file should work (I just downloaded it and rendered a composition from AE CC2018, so I know it works in newer versions).
If you would prefer, you may seek a refund with Envato- authors are not involved in that process. In either case, I’m sorry for the trouble you’ve had and hope you can get your project completed despite the problems.
Is the project easily to be modify if I never have been used any program like this?
It is fairly simple, but you should have a basic knowledge of After Effects… I suggest getting familiar with the program before buying my templates.. Check out videocopilot.net for basic training. If you do purchase a template of mine, I can provide help if you run into any problems.
this isnt ok. theres a serious bug while rendering and you keep selling your product and wasting peoples time. i lost a job while trying to solve that issues! please refund this purchase and consider stop selling this problematic project ! thanks
Sorry that you had problems with this project- seek a refund if you wish. You did not ask for any support so I could not help you fix the issues that some users have. next time please contact the seller if you are having any trouble- this project works if you make a few tweaks.
Holy wow, again, here is another great lesson in READ THE COMMENTS BEFORE YOU BUY. Very sorry but I am having the same difficulty. I have a huge machine that should do the work. I am going to let it attempt to render overnight and check in back in 16 hours. Great looking project but not so great if one cannot get it to render.
Please make sure to look at the support page for the project– the project should render fine with a few tweaks to the intro comps.. Email me if you have any specific problems I can help with
Let the project attempt to render for 36 hours. Simply will not render. The support page offered nothing to resolve this issues. I did watch the entire set of tutorial files you included, nothing on lens flare tweaks.Great looking work but it has to “work.”
What comp are you trying to render? Are you receiving an error or is it locking up? Remember to render each comp individually and not just hit “render” on the trailer comp. The project will work, but I will need more information to help you with the trouble you’re having.
Rendering each comp individually does not make any sense at all. That would take a week(s) to marry the comps back together again. I have scrapped this project and moved away from working with it. There is no reason to continue fighting errors second by second especially when render times are in excess of 12 hours. Work looks great, just has to work.
I’m sorry but rendering each comp will take less time in the long run… Make sure to render png sequences so you will be able to re-start a given render if it fails (start the render from the frame where it crashed). When the renders are done, bring the image sequences back into the original comps and ‘solo’ them– that way when you render the trailer comp, it should only take minutes. This is a common video production technique that saves lots of time since you don’t have to re-render frames if things crash.
If you have made the tweaks to the lens flare layers for the intro comps like I laid out in the support page, there shouldn’t be any crashes. The other comps all should render fine and should take about 40min each. If this is too long for you, consider turning motion blur and depth of field settings off or down.
Hopefully this helps; I’m sorry this project has be a pain for you to work with.
Graphic design and camera movements are awesome. I am sure you have fine work in other places. I have nearly 40 plus hours in this project alone. It is a waste of valuable time for me. I have gone through every composition (nearly a 100) and killed every thing labeled lens flare. I have tried rendering straight AVI also. Media Encoder will not even pick it up. There are expression errors also. I see that the product sells so maybe rework it and update it. VideoCoPilot flares are the way to go. Best of luck to you.
I can’t explain why you are having such extensive troubles– it works on my end and others seem to have fixed issues after following my suggestions. You didn’t mention expression errors before, nor have you listed the specific comps that are causing problems– things that are crucial to me in helping you have success with the project. Feel free to seek a refund through envato. Sorry for your inconvenience and I hope you’ve found a suitable alternative.
Great looking project. My issue is that it locks up during render. There are multiple points of this project that have issues. I have wasted a lot of time trying to get this to render. I am using a HPZ840 dual e5-2650 v3 2.3ghz processors, 64GB RAM on a stable windows 7 computer… never had this issue before.
Tgarretteaton Great project! I do not have AE… can I hire you to drop in the logo, 5 players, 2 coaches and text for up and coming tryouts. Thank you!
Hi smccoy, I’m sorry but I cannot do any customization at this time due to a large workload. I hope you have found a suitable alternative. thanks, Garrett
Thank you! where can I find the swoosh sound at the very end of the video showing the basketball? thanks
Send me an email with your question and I can help you! tgarretteaton@hotmail.com
Hey – Do you have any suggestions to speed up the rendering time? I have a powerful Mac with 32GB of RAM and it’s still taking 25 minutes to render a 10 second composition. Thanks!
Hi mbeaghley- you might try reducing the depth of field or turning the motion blur samples down (it’s default is 16, but looks ok as low as
. Email me if you would like some more tips… pre-rendering some of the backgrounds can be helpful in certain cases!
That
is supposed to read ” 8 ) “
This is the most frustrating project I have ever downloaded. Error after error when rendering. Even pre-rendering causes problems.
Sorry it is giving you problems. Can you tell me which errors you are receiving? Some users experience problems with the lens flares in the flythrough comps– take a look at the FAQ pages for solutions or I can help you directly. Send me an email and I will try my best to make things work more smoothly for you.
Hi there,
I some to be having some rendering issues as above. I’m not sure which frame this is but I seem to be stuck here:
http://s9.postimg.org/569xtatb3/Screen_Shot_2015_11_26_at_4_42_44_pm.pngTried multiple times but the render freezes at the same location. As per your support recommendations, should I disable all the lens flare renders?
Thanks in advance.
Hi tgarretteaton,
Additionally, I can’t seem to locate any of the layers (e.g (Flare 02b, Flare02a, __Glare Bar 6) – I’m likely not looking in the right spot but can’t disable these to test. I’ve searched in the project window and composition window but can’t seem to find this. Could you please point me in the right direction?
Thanks.
Hi imagiworks, sorry you are having trouble rendering. You shouldn’t need to disable all the lens flare layers, just the ones I mentioned in the support tab. Some of the layers are hidden so you will have to hit the ‘shy’ switch to see them… Let me know via email if you are still having trouble. Again, sorry for the trouble the project is causing. Garrett
Hi, Its all slow somehow, I am also getting warning like: “incompatible effect multiprocessing disabled” and it does not move forward to render.
My gear should not be of an issue i think, its i7, 12 cores, 64GB quad channel and 4GB GPU at 256bit, all in SSDs
Thanks you for helping
PC, WIN 10 64 bit, After Effects CC 2014
Can you tell me which composition give you this error, or is it more than one? I suspect it could the expressions on the lens flare layers. If you were to “convert expressions to keyframes” on those, it may fix your problem. Alternatively, you could simply turn multi-processing off. Email me with any questions: tgarretteaton@hotmail.com
Thanks for fast reply. Composition “FCP Trailer” gave the error on RAM preview. OK I will try your recommendations , thanks
I have got this, after Awaking the PC. Can this maybe help you to help me to use my multiprocessing?
Warning: expresion disabled. Error at line 1 property OPACITY, of layer 6 (Fact Bar Headline) in comp “Fact Bar Input 03”.
thanks
Sorry about the trouble it is causing. If you try to render straight from the Trailer comp it may lead to errors. It’s best to pre-render each composition in the FCP Trailer comp.. See if when you render those comps separately you still receive error messages. Can you send me a screenshot of the errors you’re receiving? tgarretteaton@hotmail.com
Great project. Very easy to manipulate. One question, do you think I can render the lens flares separately to speed up final render? Do you see any problems I might have if I do so?
Hi Mishka, yes if you were to pre-render the flares and then bring them back in and “srceen” them back on, it should speed up your renders a bit. You could also try reducing the motion blur samples or the Depth of Field settings. Let me know if you run into any issues!
Thanks. I’ll try all those. You’re stuff looks really good. You set the project up in a way that can be easily manipulated. Thank you for that too. Makes my job easier & quicker.
Thanks for your compliments Mishka- I hope the project continues to work well for you. Let me know if I can help with any other questions or if you find any bugs! I know rendering can be a real chore.
Very cool project. Cool hi-tech stats menu!
Thanks PerryCox!
Hi there, this is an awesome project, when rendering the team circle, it only swings around 2 players (6seconds) then stops – any ideas? 2.5 hours render time for 6 seconds?
Thanks
Hi Bigdaddykane, sorry you’re having trouble rendering that comp- it is a render-intensive one. When rendering, make sure to render as an image sequence so if it crashes you can easily resume on the frame that it stopped on. Another ting that you can do to speed things up is to render the lens flares separately and then add them back in on the other layer. Take a look at the video tutorial if you haven’t already. If you are still having problems, please send me an email where I can be more specific! Garrett
Good afternoon, love the project, but there is a major crash bug at the end. Trying to render the Eball rotate at the end of the project (ending scene where you see ball, court, and then ball rotates with logo).
it crashes/locks up with about 100-105 frames left. We rendered it on a Mac (100 frames remaining) and Windows (107 frames remaining).
Any fixes/advice?
Thanks.
Hi, teamtoyota- sorry for a late reply. Are you still having this issue? Which version of AE are you using? There are a few things that may be causing an issue and some more info would be helpful.. The fact that it crashes on different frames makes me think it may not be a bug, but maybe a render-settings issue (but you never know)... Please email me and we can troubleshoot if you are still having problems! Garrett
Hi Tgarretteaton, I love this project but I am having some rendering issues similar to some of the others here. I have a beefy processor but I suspect my problems are due to either some lens flare expressions or some other simple but unknown (to me) issue. The fix you suggested in an earlier post for F_Flythrough Cam C worked fine, But on Cam J, it appears to be a different set of lens flares or that something altogether different may be the problem. If you have worked out a solution to these issues that’d be awesome. When I get to other parts of the project I’ll follow your rendering suggestions accordingly. Thanks, and very nice work on your part. My kid’s team will love this when it’s completed!
Hi PrincetonMuskinGraphics- sorry for a delayed response.. Yes, it’s entirely possible that one of the lens flares in a different composition is causing issues. Unfortunately I’m out of the country for two weeks and unable to investigate properly. The best way to see which one is giving you the trouble is to solo the flares and render each one, one at a time and see which one causes a crash. When you find the culprit, jut make sure to shorten the offending layer before the frame that it crashes on. Let me know if you have any questions I may be able to answer. Sorry for the trouble it’s giving you and I hope you are able to work through it without too much trouble!
Garrett
This info was very useful and I do thank you! BTW I also purchased your On The Pitch project. I’ve learned so much about AE through customizing these projects for my daughters sports team. Thanks for creating such awesome projects!
Glad to hear it! Thanks for your kind words!
Hi, during the rendering process, my mac always blocking , how can i do to create the video?
Can you tell me which composition is giving you the trouble?
i don’t know, after the first scene, when appear the logo in the ground the rendering is blocked, and didn’t finish.
I think you can solve this issue by switching off a few layers in the “F_Flythrough Cam C” composition. Turn off layers 23-26 (_Glare Bar 5, Flare 03a, Flare 03b, Flare Pos 3)... Sorry you are having trouble rendering, please let me know if you have any other errors!
Jellicle, can you please send me an email with the specific problems you are having with the project? There are a few known bugs in the project, but you should not be having significant trouble rendering. Please let me know how I can help. thanks, Garrett
This is a great template! Just a few questions-
On the text fly throughs, is there a way to make each text segment be displayed for a longer duration? For my project, it is fairly text heavy, so some of the text inputs are phrases instead of a single word. In order for them to be readable, I need it to be on screen longer. I tried dragging the layers associated with each phrase in the Text Fly-Through Comp, but if I move them from their original position, the words do not show up.
Also, I’ve experienced a lot of RAM preview lag while editing the project, so I imagine my actual render will be very lengthy. Can you provide some more specific instructions on what to do to decrease the render time? I don’t quite understand what you mean by rendering each “section” individually and then bringing them back into their respective compositions. I have a fair amount of experience with AfterEffects, but am unclear on what exactly I need to do in this situation. Thanks for your help!
Just sent you an email!
