Hi, I’m trying to extend the length of each scene as they all are going too fast for my project. Would you be able to help me by giving me advice on how this can be done please?
Hi, this is not directly doable within the template features. That said there is an easy way to go about it, especially if you are using images and photos only.
You can customise the project normally and fill it with the images you would like to use. Then when you are done, simply drag and drop the ‘Main Comp’ into a new composition. Then within the new composition right click on the Main Comp layer, select time, and then Time Stretch… (Right-click on ‘Main Comp’ > Time > Time Stretch…) From here you can adjust the stretch factor from 100% to 200%, this will make the whole project 2 times as long. In the end, press the ‘continuously Rasterize’ button on the Main Comp layer, so that it retains its quality. (This button is explained in this Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bomQHtDOYnk)

I need some help. I needed it to be 2006 to 2016… I’ve watched the help 30 times and still can’t get it to work. Can you give me a little help with this? I’m not an AE expert but I thought I could do it and now I’m in a bind and need to get this project done in 24 hours. I have everything else done. please help.

Don’t buy this. Really. There’s no placeholder footage, so it’s really hard to know what happens on that grey blank screen. If i knew that there’s no placeholder images, i wouldn’t have bought this in the first place. I really want my money back.
Hi, thank you for your purchase. Actually, there are placeholders, for each image individually. So you just need to open any placeholder (named: place your Media here 01 – 15), and then just drag and drop your image/ footage and the template will do the rest. By default there are those 15 placeholders, these then can be increased to any number, so the template is completely adjustable if you want more.

Prepurchase Question – When the Year opens to the footage – is the footage a set amount of time or can I make it as long as needed before it closes and goes to the next year (great file regardless of the answer – just hoping to I can fit it in a project) – Thanks
Hi, thank you for your interest.
By default it is a set amount of time. That said, there are different scenes with different length, so you can choose a longer/shorter scene, depending what you want. Also, if you have some after effects experience you might be able to increase/ decrease the length of separate scene, but this is not a one click feature and not explained in the help documentation.
Apart from that all the other parameters can be modified, so you can add as many scenes as you wish, add multiple years, etc.
