i using adobe after elements is it compatible? or what should i be using
You should be using both After Effects and Element 3D plug-in altough you dont need to know plugin deeply.
open the AE file it says two file missing element and optical falres, help to solve what issue now?
IMPORTANT: In project If you see everything properly except diamonds please follow these steps :
Go inside of SCENE 1 – Select Element 2 Layer – Click Scene Setup from Elemend 3d Effect menu – Make sure you see diamond model in viewport of Element 3d Scene Setup (After the copying diamond_model.obj to related Models folder) – Click OK and do the same for all 4 comps. Thats all.

Ah Element and Optiacl Flares plugins missing not files ?
There is NO_OF versions of files which doesnt require Optical Flares but project can not be used without Element 3D plug-in as description of file says.
Yes both of this missing can u send me the correct we file to me so that I jus can straightaway to do the logo for my customer, is quite urgent.. normally I bought the ae no need to do so much setting jus change the logo will be done but this theme ae cannot….so pls send me the completed file

I donno how to install. I read the words file instructions but donno how to install that is y ask u help….normally we purchased the ae jus change the logo, but ur ae still need install this n setting this, we r not familiar ae, u don have the video teach to install, how we know how to install or setting this n that….
I need solution now, don waste time reply useless msg, I had told u I don understand ur description for setting the scene 2 n install the 3D logo, either u send me the correct file that I can straight away do the logo changing or I send u the logo from email u help me to do it, this issue already drag 2 days jus reply useless msg here….IM URGENT

what is the problem ?
I am just replying because many people are complaining about this project, I am using after effects from years and the Element 3D is my main plugin it’s worth buying it. a friend of mine asked me to do a favor for him and get this file to run on his laptop and I tried to figure all the issues for him and for this great project.
1. how to correctly see reflections on the object? open the layer which it has Element 3d plugin on it then click ‘scene setup’ then ‘ENVIRONMENT’ to load a scene environment map then choose the location for the map called ‘studio.png’ (note the location by default is here Materials\Environment\V1_Environment) that’s it click ok and you will see a reflections on the diamond object.
2. you cannot see the glare? go and fix the same above for the two layers ‘Glare source 1’ and ‘glare packshot’.
3. after effects is crashing when you load the scene?? okay your GPU is old fashioned but the fix is easy… click ‘caps’ on your keyboard then start after effects, go to every layer with the plugin ‘Elements 3D’ is used and change the output multisampling to ‘0’ then the project is tottaly working and awesome.
That’s it.
I am in the same case as im56seann. And I have done all what was supposed to be so simple : place diamond_model.obj in Models folder and I have Element V2.2.2. Could you please response more quickly, as we can see in all comments your replies are very long to come and we pay for your support… Please think that we maybe have to work with deadlines. It looks like some textures for the diamond are missing… if we look in the Element 3 D / scene materials.
I am running Element v2. Initially there were no diamonds, then I clicked scene setup on each element layer. Now the diamonds are rendering but they are black, no translucent effect as in your preview. Other buyers have notified you of this problem. Is there a solution to this issue yet? Please let me know asap as I need to get this project out today.

Hello again, still waiting for you reply/solution. Very disappointed in your lack of customer service. I left a comment almost A MONTH ago and have not received any help from you whatsoever. I have read some of your comments to others and while you say “it’s not your responsibility to refund money” IT IS your responsibility to inform potential customers IN YOUR LINK that this particular download ONLY WORKS on V1 of ELEMENT 3D, IT DOES NOT WORK on the LATEST VERSION! Your description is VERY misleading, I would NOT have purchased this product from you if I had known it only worked on a LAST GEN version of ELEMENT 3D. Very poor service. Buyer beware. This was not only my first purchase from you but also my first purchase from ENVATO! Very disappointed. While your products may be very good, your customer service sucks.
seabed… NO it does not work with v2.2 and it’s appalling that iconoclast does not mention this in the description. Not professional and very poor taste. I will be contacting Envato for a refund. Hopefully in the future, iconoclast will figure out how to make it work with v2.2
It works well in V2.2. Make sure your Element 3D plugin works propery. Crashes mostly are not caused by project they caused by Graphics Card or Plugin issues.

element v2.2 . It works with your project?
Normally it is backward compatible but i had no chance to try it yet. You need at least V1.5
For anyone else out there wanting to buy this project….Don’t unless you have the plug-in because it cost $199.00 for the plug-in….so don’t waste your money on this project!
Description already says project needs plug-in. Just learn how to read.
good evening I bought her diamonds and not work product. I installed the 3d element VideoCopilot and still not working. Closes Immediately After Effects. I read all the reviews and do not understand how you have not fixed anything.

You have to install Element 3d at least v1.5. And also need to license it propery. You can contact envato support for refund. It is not up to me to give your money back.
Good Morning, love your projects. I just purchased 2 of your projects this morning. One opens with no problem, however the other Diamond opener constantly crashes in after effects. It is saying Element is causing a crash. Please advise? greatly appreciated. I can send you a screen shot if you like. Yes, I added the Diamond obj folder to the correct video copilot folder.

You need to properly install and license Element 3d plugin in order to have related path.
Can you give instructions on how to do that????...since the file path you listed isn’t a file path that I have.
