I am new to AE and I just purchased this awesome pack but right now I can’t do anything with it.
I see a yr. ago someone had asked for a video to explain how to make these be transitions for between scenes. That is what I purchased this for but seeing they are all in one I cannot figure out how to move them to PR. Can you please explain to me how to do that pref. as a video.

Hi there, love the transitions thank you – as a beginner to after effects I am still trying to work it out. One of the transitions I would like to make 5 seconds long I had extended the composition but can’t figure out how to extend the transition (just so it stays on the solid colour for longer before wiping off) Are you able to guide me on this? Hello, First we have to increase the composition length . for eg if using T23 double click on layer name TRANS23 to access the Transition pre comp and hit CTRL+K to access the composition setting . In Composition settings window change the timing from 0;00;04;00 to say 0;00;10;00. the comp is now 10 seconds. select all layers by hitting CTRL+A inside the timeline and move the end point to the end of the composition. close the pre comp and go back to T23 composition. go to composition settings for this comp(CTRL+K) and change the timing to 0;00;10;00. and move the end of all layers to the comp end.
the second layer name shape remove is the transition out. move it to a position you want as transition end.
i hope this helps you. there are multiple methods to do this. if you need a video tutorial on this please let me know.

Nice! Can I ask you one thing? Are the shapes themselves the transition or can I ‘track matte’ the shapes so the transition happens from footage to footage (no shape fill colors).

hi sorry for the delay. shapes are the transitions. if you want the transition happens from one clip to another(using track matte) , you have to hold the transitions using Time Remap (inside aftereffects) when the shape fill the screen.

its one project and seperate composition for each transition. and there’s one composition which containes all 60 transitions, which can be rendered as one mov file.
hey – before i purchase i have a question. I bought another transition pack and I was not able to customize the duration or any changes like that, I could not use it with a clip of video that I wanted to have a transition between. Is this something I could use if I already have my video trim, I just want a nice transition between it?
yes you can customize it in aftereffects like(color, duration) The tutorial included with the pack explains how to do it. if you want to use it in between clips(like one clip transitions to another) its also possible with it. its not explained in video tutorial. but i can sent u a tutorial explaining how to do it. if you have any further questions, let me know
