Thx. How can I import new pictures in this AE file?
Press “File” -> “Import” -> “Multiple Files”, then choose pictures that you would like to import. After that they will appear at your project window (marked with “1” on image bellow). And then as written in “User Guide.pdf”, just drag and drop them from project window to compositions at “Your Footage” folder (marked with “2” on image bellow).

Actually there is a sample text, but it is visible only if you have set current time indicator anywhere on the timeline. I marked it with red, just click there:
What is the best way to remove / disable the Logo part?
Open MAIN_COMP and hide last layer named “Logo” by clicking here:
Optionally you can decrease video duration to time where logo should appear by draging this one:
(2 seconds approximately)
Hi, How can I adjust the settings to remove the black bars below and above? I’m using a iMac Retine 5K. After i’m finished the movie and export it to HD (1920×1080) with PAL, there are still black bars in the intro, not in the movie.
Hi! Go to MAIN_COMP composition, click once on the “Control Layer” and disable the last checkbox at its Effects Controls panel.
If you don’t have Effects Controls panel, you can enable it at Window tab.
After that, must I export a HD (1920×1080) movie from the ‘MAIN_COMP’ or form the ‘MAIN_COMP 720P’ window?
For HD (1920×1080) you have to render MAIN_COMP.
(“MAIN_COMP 720p” is suited for 1280×720)
I try several export files to render, but still with the black bars. Checkbox ‘enable widescreen stripes’ in MAIN_COMP is unchecked.
Hm, just checked, everything should be fine. Check if your footage fill all image placeholders(1-22 comps) space, may be that’s the reason.
Yes, these zones are filled.
Then may be you can make a screenshot of black bars that you get, so I can better understand the reason of it. It may be screenshot of AE workspace made at MAIN_COMP composition.

Got your project. I don’t know why, but in project that you had send me expression that is responsive for black bars opacity isn’t active (in my uploaded template it is active, just checked).
You can remove it manually, just follow these steps:
1) Open hidden layers
2)Delete “stripes” layer
Or you can just activate this expression. To do this you have to click once on “stripes” layer -> press “u” on keyboard and click on field with expression then click somewhere else outside of this field

What is the best output file, with the best quality, to use on a blu-ray with PAL and on an iMac / iMovie / FinalCut?
Choose H.264 or Quick Time format. Also check if you have high quality settings at “Format options”
