I am just finishing a project using this template and have subbed in the black background-01. Just wondering if there is a way to have the first frame on the mosiac photo reveal where the photos are dropping from the sky on a black background as well instead of white. Please let me know. Thanks!
Hi there! Thanks for your purchase. You could drop in the background manually into that frame by double clicking into Frame – 01 in the timeline. This will open a new timeline. Drag the background image to the bottom but above the 2 bottom layers e.g place it above the layer black solid 20. Hope this helps. Regards

I cannot get a solid black logo to blend with the 100 photos the way the example does. I am using an RGB AI file with text. I can adjust the opacity but this affects the final reveal with the main photo comp. Are there any setting I am missing when prepping theses file in Illustrator of After Effects? Thanks in advance!
Hi there! Is your logo just a solid black Text? on a white background? A solid black and a solid white will always be Opaque in the reveal overlay – will not blend, The only way would be to shift the colour of the black to an off black, maybe more dark dark grey. or if your logo is fully black, having a white that is more transparent like a 75% white will allow the reveal to happen to only the White section keeping your logo full black. kind regards.
Hi.. what should be the best size and resolution (in pixels) of the images in order to render 1280 X 720 p HD video? Also, what is Mosaic Compilation Feature introduced in 2nd version? How does this feature differ from 1st version in all aspects?
Hi there! I would recommend having your images at 1920×1080px. However they will be cropped to a square of 1080×1080. The mosaic compilation feature is just an additional sequence you can render if you just want to have photos falling to form the final image. This is an optional render and was only included in version 2. Kind regards.
Thanks! Is this mosaic compilation feature will be the ending part of the main video or it’s just an additional independent sequence of few seconds (irrelevant of 1:30 min main video)??
The compilation feature is a standalone sequence, so yes it is an independent sequence irrelevant to the 1:30 main video. But in saying that, once you have added your photos in if you were working on the 1:30 video, no additional work is needed to be made if you so choose to render this compilation feature. (The photos will already be placed in). There is a 3 min extended sequence as well in the project. Kind regards
Thanks for your response. Can this standalone feature be merged to 1:30 main video as a single composition? I have a Windows PC. Is this project compatible with windows 10 and after effects cc 2015 trial version?
You will need to change some settings to extend the timeline sequence to allow this feature to be included. It is possible. It should also be compatible with PC windows 10 and should work for CC 2015. Though I have not tested this out yet.

I am using Windows PC.. While opening the project in After Effects, it is giving me an error “this project must be converted from version 9.0 (Macintosh Intel). The original file will be unchanged.”
Please confirm if I cannot use this on Windows PC.
Hi. This is not an error it’s just saying that it’s opening an older project. It allows other users with different after effects version to open it. It’s all good 
Please let me know how I can merge the compilation feature (a standalone sequence) to the 1:30 min main video in After Effects. I want to include both in one sequence. I want to create one single piece of video including both.

Hiya. I purchased this template however the exporting is taking hours and hours and will not render the full comp. It stops at a certain point. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Hi there magnus! It could be a couple of things, from not enough memory or ram to certain types of file formats used in the comp which might stop the render. Hi there! unfortunately the template is only setup to use 100 photos. I might look at adding more for a future update. cheers
