Thanks for your comment here SF, on how to edit all subtitles at once! i’ve spent an hour plus trying to work it out, and realised I was changing the properties box (which has font size) instead of the characters font size! this is amazing! thanks for your support in answering Qs!!
Hi recently purchased but if I change the style I have to do it one key at a time. It also looks like it caches everything and at times it puts the sentences back to front. It’s got some really weird annoying behaviours that I don’t have time for,
Also the subtitles stretch the span of the video and sometimes I just don’t need that. There’s a few breaks where the talker isn’t talking but the subtitles continue to show. I have 2 move each key one and time.

To edit all the subtitles at once, please follow these steps:
1. Select all the subtitles keyframes 2. Move your playhead in one of the keyframes 3. Open the Character panel under the Windows > Character 4. Change the font or the color of the text
If you want to hide the subtitles text, create a new empty keyframe on the source text.

Hi Script-Fighter. I’m having the same issue as CHAPEAUMELON where After Effects crashes every time I try to play the video. I tried your Small Screens solution and I know that the expression engine is correct. Do you have any other solutions? Otherwise I need a refund. Thank you.

Hello, I just purchased this but I’m getting an error every time I edit the text. I get this: “This project contains an expression error: 1 of 1”—let me know how to fix that please.
The expression is encrypted, so it only works in the traditional ExtendScript expression engine and not in the new JavaScript engine, so please change the expression engine to ExtendScript.
In fact the two expression engines are equally good and there are very small differences between them so it doesn’t really matter which expression engine to use.
And if you want you can always easily change it back to the JavaScript expression engine.

Yes, like you do to any other text in After Effects. If its in the layer style you can turn it off.
are you able to stylize the subtitles or do animation to them?
You can now do it manually. In the future, we will add this feature to the tool
I’m having an issue with the plugin. Every time I try to play my video with the subtitles on, AE just closes without warning. It has happened on 3 different computers now. The only way for me to watch my video is to deactivate the subtitles. Have you heard of this issue already? Best regards.

Also, make sure that you change the expression engine to ExtendScript.
I bought this last year but have recently upgraded my software to adobe premiere 2022. Will this work with that version?
It works on the latest version of After Effects, not Premiere Pro.

There seems to be a conflict with another script that you have open in After Effects,
please move the After Effects layout to SMALL SCREENS And then restart after effects and then try to run the tool
Additionally, make sure that After Effects Edit> Preferences >Scripting & Expressions “Allow script write files to the network” is enabled.
I’ve tried it, it doesn’t work.
