I love this template..only issue is that I need to work in a lower resolution since most of my footage is NOT 1920×1080. Changing the comp settings only for the main comp “Hands_Output” is not sufficient..I have to change it for a bunch of things and still I’m not getting the results I want. Is there no simple way to resize so that I can work in 1280×720 without screwing up the position of items?
Hello! I recommend you place all your footage inside the placeholders, then drop the main comp into a 1280×720 comp and resize it to fit that frame-size before rendering. Resizing all the comps will just mess up the project.
And by the way; even though the media-comps are 1920×1080, they are never shown in fullscreen, so you shouldn’t worry about your footage not being exactly 1920×1080. Unless the resolution of those files are way lower than 1080.. The easiest way to end up with a 1280 video is to either do what I mentioned earlier, or render 1920×1080 video and converting this to 1280.
Did you use software to track the hands? If so what was it. I really like what you did. Awesome.

Flash won’t play on any iOS devices including iPhones, iPads and iPods, and many people (like me) block Flash. Flash is old school. Everything is HTML 5 now. Do you have an HTML 5 version of the video?
I’m sorry, I don’t really get your question.. You mean that the preview of this product won’t play on your iPhone? Plays very well on mine. However, this is an Adobe After Effects template, meant to be purchased and edited in the software Adobe After Effects, then rendered to desired video format.

hi, great work, how can i change playing time of video. I need create only 15 second spot. i trying remove few blocks but it still approx. 1 minute.
I think you have to remove quite many of the blocks to make the vid 15 secs. You should try trimming the comp work-area to 15 seconds. Then you’ll see how many placeholders you need to remove.

I’m a newbie at AE and even after reading your comment to ddk1998 (two years ago…) I haven’t manage to duplicate another placeholder. here is what I did: on project menu i open the placeholder folder and mark placeholder_03. then I clicked the ctrl+d and got placeholder_12. inside I have placeholder_03 and placeholder_03_media. now I rename them to placeholder_12 and placeholder_12_media. when I try to drag the placeholder_12 to the timeline i get the new placeholder with placeholder_03_media in it. whatever i did, I couldn’t manage to replace it with placeholder_12_media and still have all the effects that placeholder_03_media have. I just get a still image on top of all layers. please help me.

Im honestly a AE newbie. But i managed to amend the project with my pictures and text and all.
2 Questions i got, which i have searched all over for and couldnt get any help.
1- How can i extend the length of each layer? if i drag them, they do extend, and i can reorder them to the correct order, but the output still remains 0:59 secs or something like that, so i would please like to know how can i extend the length of all layers, and the whole length of the whole clip ofcourse so it matches all the the length of the amended layers.
2- How can i fade out the music track at the end

1 – You cannot extend the Hands-layers because these are video files. You cam however stretch their speed by right-clicking them time-stretch.
2 – To add fade to a audio-layer, either keyframe the Audio Levels from “+0.00db” to “-48.db” OR add the effect Stereo Mixer and keyframe right and left level from 100 to 0.
