Hi! I love it! Great work! Just one question, is it possible and easy to slow down the slide roll? I see it goes with the music. As geogal10 said “the beginning part is very likely, but the rest just rolls along at a clip…”

Hey! Thank you! I’m sorry that the animation it doesn’t fit very well for you. I tried to make this template more dynamic. So, there are 3 layers called “Slide Control” http://screencast.com/t/DCHEgpoYiG4p Select one of those layer and hit “U” to reveal the keyframes. Now, you just have to change the position of the last keyframe. Extend the distance between them, to slow down the animation. Doing that, you need to change the position of the compositions too. I hope you’ll figure it out.

Hi, Just purchased and wondering if you made this in 23.98? I want to integrate this into a 23.98 video project, and if it was designed for 25fps I might be in trouble. If I change the individual comp frame rates, will that alter the look? I’d prefer not to since there are over 100 comps, but mostly I want to make sure it still works as intended.

Thank you! One more question for you. I’m trying to export a movie, and I keep getting an error on Placeholder 36. Error is “invalid image buffer size (1947×33080). My image that I placed in here is not that size, so I’m wondering if it’s somewhere else either in the Slide Projector comp, or some other location. I tried with an extremely small image and still get this error message when I export, with the same numbers. Any ideas?
The image of that placeholder is too big. Re-size the image in Photoshop or any other software and import it again.
I tried that, but it’s not the image. I tried it with very very small images for the placeholder and it didn’t change the results. Something else is up.

I was able to make it work by deleting that layer and replacing it with another one. Thanks for the link.
Howdy – one more quick question. I’ve been asked to strip away the focal shift by someone I’m making a video for. I tried to remove the fast blur effects, but I’m still seeing the soft focus pops. Where elsse should I be looking to dial this back? Thanks again!
There is a layer called focus. Is hidden and you have to disable “shy” switch to make it visible in timeline. http://youtu.be/rQBUPf2anWI here a short tutorial. Also, you have to select each composition one by one and delete Fast Blur effect from the Effects Panel (F3 to open the panel). I hope that helps you know. How about a rate here? What is the ideal resolution of images used to avoid cutting off corners of the vintage slide effects or without transforming the shape of the slides to perfectly rectangular if a too large image is used?

It’s easy, but there are a lot of comps, so it takes some time to do that. Basically you have to change the duration of the comps and extend they distance between key frames.

Hi! Thank you for your appreciation. So, you can customize it, but you have to have some AE basic skills. You can slow down when it rolls, but you need to modify some keyframes.

You have to modify the distance between keyframes when it rolls, and the length of compsitions so they will stay visible if you slow down them. I will give you more support via email if you need. Please don’t forget to rate it. Good luck!
