Thanks a lot for your message and your support! If you re-imported the obj, it´s very unusual, that it doesn´t work. Does the logo reveal work or is only the background sphere missing. That really shouldn´t happen – are you sure that the controls are reset? It´s possible that you just have to re-import the included .obj. Please take a look at the tutorial which is included. Starting at 01:00 I explain how to reimport the obj.

If this doesn´t help please write me again. I don´t have a mac version because in fact there shouldn´t be any troubles using an .ae file on any platform – they are normally compatible.

Hey Roland thanks for your reply. I can import the OBJ for the sphere but the majority of the lines in the main composition are not there. I get the message “effect control conversion required in effect “Plexus Lights Object”. Some effect controls will be reset” when the project loads.

Suppose the quickest way for me to fix would be if you could provide a screenshot of the control sliders in a JPG or something? Thanks

I´m sorry for the troubles – it´s the first time that this problem occured. I have no real clue what the problem could be, but I guess it´s some kind of a version compatibility problem of plexus.

I used Plexus version 1.4 making this template.

Was it really necessary to reimport the obj? I tried it several times before releasing it and it worked without reimporting. But thanks a lot for the tip – I will update the tutorial and show how to reimport the obj.
