Hey Dave – sorry, but authors can´t refund. Contact the videohive support, but I don´t think that they will refund, because the description shows, that the plugin is needed. Hey and welcome to the hive! Great project 
One tip to make this file better: Don’t just “Invert” the color and call it a dark version because then the Logo also inverts the colors and buyers don’t wont that. Invert the colors of the background but not the logo

Thanks fot the tip. Infact I did not invert the project. It is an extra dark background in the project. I just inverted the Envato logo to have a white logo as an example. But your message shows, that this can be misunderstood. So I will change the descripton of the project to make it clear.
