Can the fonts be changed? Thanks.

The hours minutes and seconds text can be changed. The animation of the numbers had to be done manually, so the font of the numbers cannot be changed.

Hey TheropodFX. I’m having the same issue as NickFitchpatrick. (AE Newbie too). Numbers are not showing up. Is the FF Enzo OT font required to be purchased separately?

All numbers are pre-rendered and do not require any fonts. The numbers live in the “media” folder and should link no problem as long as the folder stays with the project.

One simple thing to check first. Make sure you’re looking at one of the comps in the “Render These Comps” folder, and not the Background comp. The background comp will appear behind the countdowns, so it has no numbers.

If they numbers are not linking to their pre-rendered clips, you can manually re-link them. In the project, go to the “under the hood” bin, then “elements” and “morphs.” There are two .mov clips “Morphs – sec01s-10sec.mov” and “Morphs – sec10s-1min.mov”. Right click on one of them and select “Replace Footage > File…” Find the corresponding .mov file that came in the project zip and hit open. Once one is re-linked, it should find the other automatically. if for some reason it doesn’t, repeat the process with the other clip.

If that doesn’t fix it, I’ll have to look more closely at your specific setup. Send me an email and we’ll sort it out.

If you’re interested in using the FF Enzo font that I based the numbers on, it’s part of Typekit, which is available for free to Creative Cloud users. Again, it’s not needed for the morphing numbers.

Great – thanks for the info. All sorted. Love the theme!

Glad you got it working. What was the issue?

I did not realize when I made the purchase that this would not work with After Effects CS5.5. Would it be possible to save this in a format that works with older versions of After Effects?

Should be doable. I’ll take a look and get back to you.

I saved down the project for Creative Suite. I’m going to repost the template with a CS5 version, but I want to make sure you get your copy right away. Send me a direct email and I’ll send you the file.

Thank you so much for making that compatible with CS5! I purchased a perpetual license and sadly Adobe does not offer that any more. I did not expect such a fast response so I downloaded a trial version of After Effects 2015.

Great and useful! ;)

Very nice work!!!
