Unfortunately these maps are not included. I think at least New Caledonia needs to be added as is quite a big island Maybe for a future update

No, I’m afraid I can’t do it at the moment.
But I’ve checked the template and New Caledonia is seen quite clear in the Vanuatu map. You could adapt Vanuatu to show New Caledonia.
For the flag you can use the France flag. But you don’t have the boundaries of the island.
The text info overlay can be changed so you can add the appropriate name and description
The changes above requires some knowledge of After Effects.
sorry i doubt that would work as i dont want to be seeing Vanuatu just NC – how hard is it to add a new flag – do you have instructions anywhere – pity id need the boundaries of the island also
Well Vanuatu is near New Caledonia so hard to not see it.

I have a pre-purchase question. The flags (state, country, etc.) in the UPPER RIGHT of your presentation, can they be changed and/or can a custom flag (texture/material) be used / substituted for any of those shown in your product demo?

The flags can be removed but you can’t use a custom texture. I did not found an efficient way to make them directly in After Effects. There are some methods but they involve heavy render effects and they don’t look real. So I did not include them.
If you need a specific flag I can create it for you if you contact me from my profile page after purchase. There is just a small restriction, flag should not be controversial/offensive or illegal.

each map have two modes, one where the “zoom in” had been prepared by me. the second mode where you can create your own zoom or camera movements. I’ve include a tutorial that shows how to do this if you need to do it.

Have purchased and downloaded file (2.5GB) but it isn’t an aep file – my mac thinks it’s a textedit document, but won’t open. Downloaded it twice – same issue. Appreciate your help

The projects here on videohive are archived inside a zip archive.
The aep files are bundled together with additional assets files, tutorials and other files inside a zip archive file.
You will need to unzip all the files to a folder on your computer (important! all of them) and then open the project in After Effects.
Now said this, not sure about MAC but for example windows have by default an application that can open these .zip files. On Mac should work the same I think, but maybe something happened with your settings and now the operating system thinks that the application needed for the .zip file is text edit application.
I’m not a MAC user so I don’t know where are the settings to change with what application a certain file needs to be opened with, so I will provide an alternative solution.
You can install the trial version of winrar for mac and see if it works This app opens and creates archives files, it will open the zip file

Thank you for your reply. Just a few minutes ago, I realised I wasn’t seeing multiple files – just one. So I added .zip extension, and then it opened correctly. not sure why it didn’t download as a zip file, but perhaps it’s a Mac thing. I will play with it tomorrow. Have a good day.

The file should definitely have the zip extension, strange it didn’t had it.
I felt cheated with this purchase, it’s unusable for small counties like lebanon, which is the main reason i bought it. I just burned 48$.

What did you wanted to do over Lebanon? What are the goals of your project?
If you check the tutorial you will find steps to zoom in to the country as close as you want if this is what you need to achieve
On the other side is not $48 for Lebanon only but for a collection of maps of all the countries in the world.
Hi Guys, I’m doing a documentary on Greece and your project looks really great! My question is, how close can I zoom in on the map? For example, could I zoom right in on the island of Crete, even if only at 2K (which is what i’d publishing at)? With thanks, Craig

Technically you can zoom in as much as you need, the zoom is not restricted.
These maps had been calculated to look good at 4K so if you render to 1080p then you can zoom in more and still keep a good look.

On the item page after the preview example of the color styles available, you can find a collection of views for different map. second on the right is a preview of the map of Norway. In rest is similar with the maps from the video preview.

You are the most awesome FYI – I once paid some thousands of dollars for the Royalty Free right to use static maps of every country.
yes, maps can get quite expensive, sometimes is understandable as they can get quite complicated, fortunately technology let us push the creativity limit

Thank You for purchasing my item. Can you give me more details about how you are opening the template? You are importing the file or your are using the File.. Open command? Also, please check what version of CS6 do you have and let me know here.
I happens when opening the project via double click in the Windows Explorer. Just like every other file. It also happens when opening it in AE via “Open Project” or “Import File”. My AE version is 11.0.4.2
Interesting, I have the same After Effects version and it definitely works both by importing and opening (I’ve tested this a few minutes ago just to double check ) Actually the template was created and saved with this After Effects version so should work!
