Thank you for your purchase! I’m sorry you are having problems rendering the template; it sounds like your computer is getting hung-up somewhere in the process.

This template has been optimized with pre-rendered elements for the fastest render possible. However, some of the effects are extremely memory intensive, so render speed depends on many factors including your computer specifications, RAM allocation, and multiprocessor settings.

For the fastest render, try these solutions:

1. Turn on Multiprocessing – After Effects has the ability to render out multiple frames at the same time using multiple processing cores. By default, multiprocessing isn’t turned on in After Effects, you have to do it manually. To do so navigate to After Effects > Preferences > Memory & Multiprocessing.

2. Enable “Secret” Settings – While holding down “shift” (win) or “shift+command’ (mac), select Edit > Preferences > Memory & cache. Select the “Secret” setting in the preferences window. Check “Disable Layer Cache”. Purge every 15 frames. Click “OK”.

3. MOST IMPORTANT!!! Render to a separate hard-drive. When you render your footage to the same hard-drive your project is saved on, you are forcing that hard-drive to perform two operations simultaneously: read and write. While this doesn’t lead to render times that are twice as slow, it does lead to reduced render times. Instead, try using one hard drive to run the program with assets and another hard drive to render the finished video. A solid-state drive is a quick way to increase not only rendering speed in After Effects, but also the overall speed of your computer in general. After Effects will be able to load assets, reference the cache, and load effects much faster—reducing render times.

Just because elements are pre-rendered does not mean they weren’t created in After Effects. In fact, the Ray-traced 3D render engine in AE CS6 is extremely powerful if you are creative and willing to experiment.

Indeed, the elements in this project have been pre-rendered to optimize the render speed; most customers greatly appreciate this efficient design when they are working with a deadline.

Furthermore, you are incorrect about the background because it can be changed. I have included 2 background choices that can be selected with one simple click.
