Its problem in your AE version, probably. What version of AE do you using? CS4 and CS5 comes with this effect. You must have CS4 or CS5 After Effect version. You can download CS5 on adobe site for free. It’s trail version, but for a month, it has whole functionality.

In your product said “No additional plugin needed” but why when I onpen it in AE that still ask for effective plugin?
You opening the wrong version. When you unzip the project file you will find two folders. Use prerendered one, not full one, because full one is with all the plugins.

Realistically how long does this product take to render on an imac 2,8 ghz 6 gigs of memory ram.
Well, I’m not sure, but I’m guessing about 7-10 hours. You can look up for the recommended config. in project info. The project is tested on that configuration so you can draw some conclusion base on that…
I’ve been trying to work with the template using the prerendered version, but when I open it, the program says that 7 files are missing since it was last saved. I haven’t saved anything though, or changed anything.
Also, when I change the text and preview the beginning, the flares are showing up as the color bar TV test instead.
No need to worry. Open the project, and in a project settings window find don’t touch/video folder. Open it and right click on one of the seven missing videos. Choose replace video option, navigate to video folder(stored in project/footage/don’t touch/ video folder ),select that video and click ok. Thats all… Cheers Aleksandar
Hi I bought this template a few days ago and I am having a lot of difficuilties with putting my work on there. It says a lot of flashes are missing,etc.

No, we don’t provide that kind of service. But you can edit yourself it’s pretty easy. I think you open full version of the project. Find prerendered one(prerender folder inside of root project folder)and all plugin missing messages will go away. Also, visit www.creativelab.rs, and find tutorial section, there you will find some short tutorials about customizing our templates. Just follow instruction and you will produce your final movie right away. I hope this was helpful Good luck and happy rendering
Just wanted to commend you on an absolutely incredible template. I have a 6 core powerhouse of a machine and I was only able to render it at 720p and 16-bit color, I think because I used too many hi def clips in the project
