Hi! How can I change fonts?

Nice work!

Hey, does this work with final cut pro and is there an installation tutorial? Do the maps include the whole world? Africa?

Hi, no this is template only works with Adobe After Effects.

Hi I tried to copy the Travel comp and make it UHD 3840×2160 and the maps scaled fine except from the some water textures and the clouds!! also when upscale now I am missing the airplane icon!! The way I did it was to copy the travel map comp and scale in the comp settings!! I am missing something?

Hi, does your map animation cover South East Asia and especially Vietnam?

Hi Fabriceturri, it does it indeed, but as per above comments it depends on how close you want to zoom in on Vietnam to show your trips there. You can also use your own map (like google maps for exmaple) as shown in this video tutorial here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYZTf8eQeis

Hi.. I would like to use your template to show animation of my road trip across India. Does it have a high res map for India? And how easy is it to create this for someone who is a beginner of Adobe After Effects.

Hi sgoenka88, would you mind taking a screeshot of an example trip you want to show on Google Maps and sending it to support@southeleven.com so I can take a look and let you know if our map has enough resolution?

Hey, planning to purchase this, is there a way to change the font and the pin styles? please let me know, looking forward. regards

Hi noman, you can indeed. There’s a couple of small steps involved though so email me at support@southeleven.com once you’ve purchased the template and I’ll send you a video tutorial on that.

Hello, just purchased and send you a couple of emails. Looking forward to your reply.

Hi there do the maps cover South Africa?

Hi ikraal, they do indeed.

Hi South11, great template! But I have a question, I’d like to zoom in further than 100%. I understand that this has visual repercussions but my client really wants a closer view. I’ve tried editing the slider but the values seem to be defined somewhere else. Can you help me out? Thanks.

Hi there,

Yeah there are limitations for close you can get in and that 100% is about it. Would you mind sending us an email to support@southeleven.com with a reference on google maps for close you want to zoom in and I’ll see what can be done.

Thanks,

I don’t really understand the License, and I’ve read through the license details a couple of time which doesn’t answer my question. If I’m travel blogging and I want to add the travel map to the beginning of each video for YouTube (not monitised, but maybe at later date) just to update as I travel. Do I have to purchase a regular license for each video, or is it just the once.

Hey and you’re not the only one. It’s certainly a bit confusing, especially if you’re producing something for online use, where neither the lifespan or the audiences are defined at the initial stage of production.

I think they have something about a “series” there where you can get a single license as long as you don’t produce more than 52 episodes a year.. We authors don’t have any say in this so you’ll have to refer to Envato documentation. Have a browse through their forums – that might be of more help.

thank you, will continue searching – and such a great project file by the way

thanks…

Hello, there is any solution to fast reverse direction of path? For example, i have path with multiple points, and i want to reverse direction of driving vehicle. Waiting for your help :)

Hi rysakpawel, you can reverse the flight path by swapping out its start and end points, but I don’t think you can do that for driving paths. I know the pain of having to redraw that path but that’s the only way to do that :)

I tried few map system, and definitely, this one is the best! It’s easy, quick, it’s work without a big computer, all is thought well and full customized. Video tutorials are clear and very useful, and the support is really efficient, responsive and nice! Thanks Tautas for your precious help with my LR ;)

Thanks! ;)

Hi ! I’m really interesting by your template. I just have one a question about my last travel : is it possible to zoom into cape verde islands ? We did a trip on those islands. Thanks for your answers !

And another question, is your template will be completly compatible with AE CC 2020 ?

Hi Kentin69 yes it will.

Hi Kentin69 could you please get in touch at support@southeleven.com and I’ll give you more details there. Thanks.

Why did you delete Asia and middle east maps? I’ve bought it but now I can’t download!

Hey dj_shifty, sorry but progress had to give way to the new template. The good news is that I’d be happy to send you a copy of our new World Travel Maps template at no extra fee. Send us an email to support@southeleven.com and I’ll get you sorted right away.

Hello I downloaded “World Travel Maps” it’s superb but I just had a problem and I can’t find the solution. I want to make a trip from L.A. (North America) to Lima (South America)... but arriving over Mexico with my plane, the South is invisible is appears only 1 second later. I do not have this problem when the zoom of the camera is 0%, there are all continents … But I would like to be on a value of 65/70% (see details) but it is from these values that the contains does not appear at the beginning Can you help me Thank you Alex

Hi Alex I think I know why this is happening and it should be very quick fix. Would you mind sending me an email to suppport@southeleven.com?

Hi, following fonts are not included: BigJohn HelveticaNeueLTStd-Bdit MixBrush Roboto-Condensed SFProDisplay-Smibold

Where can I download this fonts or are you able to send me the fonts?

Thank you.

Ok found it – just ignore those SFProDisplay fonts as they’re only used on some text elements that are not visible to end users. I’ll make sure we get them updated asap. Thanks again for pointing this out!

I already installed SFProDisplay and the font is found by Adobe After Effects 2020. But Roboto Condensed is still missing. I already installed the same font, you sent me. I reinstalled it but it can’t be recognized. Maybe you can tell me where the font is being used for, so I manually exchange it with the google Roboto font.

Thank you for your help.

Ok glad you got that SFProDisplay sorted. Roboto is used on the pins. I think is only on layer #21, but that’s only visible if you enable a colour theme called “Dots”.

does the zoom-in effect allow for cities and towns to show for all countries? Most especially in Africa

They would, but not all of them – primarily just the capitals and any major cities. Here’s an updated screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dv2o95bl4wiw8xw/Travel%20Map%20-%20Africa%20ZooedIn2.jpg?dl=0

ok, I see…not detailed enough. So is it possible to have all the cities added on to the map like Accra is shown in Ghana and as I do a drag through from point A to B, the line would accurately form the right driving path without extra edits?

Hi, yes you can add additional cities like that if you want to. However its only the airplane routes that form automatically. For the driving routes you’d have to create the shape yourself. Take a look at this video tutorial to see how that works: https://youtu.be/3Igxr6v-iNA?t=1024

Hi! Do you have a world travel map from Africa? Thanks

Hi Ralmaguerk, we have one coming out next week. I can send you a notification once its published if you leave us your email address (support@southeleven.com). Thanks.

How can i use your template for country Norway. is there another separate template for that country

Hi, Europe should do the job, but it depends on how close you need to zoom into Norway. Send us a screenshot (support@southeleven.com) of google maps showing what level of detail you need and I’ll let you know whether it will work for you.

Bought this and the dasboard doesnt load on my AE CC 2019

That’s weird… can you send us a screenshot to support@southeleven.com of what your AE looks like when you open the project?
