CS5 version 10.0.2.4
You need CS 5.5 and higher.
Just nice, very useful project
Great Project! Quick question. The glossy look on the pictures, that nice reflection, is that a layer on top of the placeholders? Is it pre rendered? Can it be turned off/modified?
Yes. You can dial it back or completely remove it if you need to. Thanks!
Hello, I purchased this template and really love it, however, after being rendered and on playback, the table shakes significantly. I changed all comps to 29.97 from 24P thinking that would fix it, but no luck. Any thoughts?
weird. I would love to see a preview of what you mean, Can you send a youtube link? maybe in a private message?
Sure, how do I send you a private message?
Here is how to fix it: You have to make sure that every composition and pre-comp is at the same frame rate of 24fps. So, double click on any pre-comp that is in your final timeline. Go to composition settings and adjust the framerate to 24fps. You should go all the way back to the working comp with all of the layers. So the comp you are rendering and any pre-comp that is nested within one another should all have a 24fps set. Let me know if you have any questions.
I am having the same problem as sblair1 that the wood texture underneath is shaking. Is there a fix for this? I have opened the project from scatch and tried to render but it is still the same. Any ideas?
Thanks
What version of CS are you using? It works fine on my end. I am trying to figure out the cause but if all else fails I would be happy to render a version for you with your pictures. Sorry for the trouble.

Hi! How many photos in one render?
24
Hello – great template! One question – how can I add more title slides that don’t duplicate the wording from one of the other 6 slides you have in there?
Very easy. Duplicate the text slide comp in the project manager window( top left) then double click that new comp to add your text. Then just drag that comp down and place it where you like.
Aloha, I am having the same problem with the table being shaky, did figure out how to fix that problem??

I don’t know what the problem is as the project works great on my end. I would be happy to take your project files and render it out for you. Feel free to send me a private message and we can make that happen. Sorry for the trouble.

Hello. How difficult is it for someone with no AE experience to edit this video to look just like the demo? We really love how this is put together and would love the challenge to “learn” but if it’s too complex for a newbie- we’ll stick to CorelVisual Studio 7—that’s to as far our experience is with video editing..
Will this work on the creative cloud app? Thank you for your time.
Oh no, I am so sorry, I am just seeing this comment. I apologize. Probably too late, but there is a video that gives you a step by step walkthough, you should have a problem.
Hello Alex – project is beautiful…but I am also having the shaky table issue. Is there a workaround other than having you render it out? Seems like kind of a big problem. I’m on the latest AE CC 2014. Thanks!
Hey Scott, I haven’t been able to come up with a solution yet. It’s difficult to solve when it works normal on my end. Playing around with frame rates is my best guess. Try maybe exactly 30fps? Until I find a solve, I will be happy to render it out for you. I understand this is a reoccurring issue and it’s on my list to fix. Please let me know if I can be of more assistance. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Alex thank you for the quick reply. Where can I send it to you to render? We are on a big time crunch and need it tonight for client review
Be sure to collect the files and create a ZIP.
Let me know when it’s on the way. It’s 10pm on the east coast.

Thanks Alex, but we need final render to be 29.97….
I’m having the same table shake issue. I went through and set all comps to 24. Any more ideas?
That is definitely the fix. Triple check yourself. Make sure that the comp you are exporting is also 24.
Just downloaded the slideshow so far so good but by no fault of this software I just cant get my images to fit the frames. I know this is because i’m a newb Is there any how to do guides out there?
Here is a link to illustrate my problem:

Glad to help. First you need to actually open that Comp. “Photo 1”. Then replace your photo with the placeholder. That help? The video tutorial should walk you though that.
“the video tutorial should walk you through that” Link please?
oops yes found the tutorial, its a file you get in the download after purchase called: “Photo collage instructions”. Time to get my learning head on
Ok i did it & here it is… http://youtu.be/z2xkrs-utRk But I think i will turn down the glossy reflective effect but v happy with it
Very nice! Thank you for sharing, Yea. you can adjust that reflective as much as you want. Please be sure to rate! http://www.videohive.net/downloads
Final version here, with music (above now deleted) – http://youtu.be/-DBNC3IoUXo
How many placeholders are available for this template? Also, can these reduced or increased easily?
Damn I forgot how i turned down the glossy reflextive effect on the photos as the camera pans over them. Put another way it looks like light bouncing off the images. I just cant remember how to do modify it
Where can I modify / switch this off in the comps?
Navigate to the Comp where you see all of the layers. There should be a layer called “Reflection”. Click on it to highlight, then it “T” for Opacity. Change the percentage. Hope that helps!
Damn Alex that was a quick response! I am on it now and will update

Keep going. Double click on Looping Slideshow. You will see A LOT of layers.

Keep going… Double click on that Pre-Comp.
Err pre comp? Do you mean in the tab called “Looping Slideshow” or “Looping Slideshow with Test files?” If so what is the name of the layer. Any chance of a screen grab?
Did you watch the video tutorial?
Not sure i want to read any more tutorials just want a straight answer to where this reflection layer effect sits? Do I have to watch a video for this. If you look at my screen grabs can you not see why i cant find it? (so frustrating)
It’s within the first minute of the Video Tutorial that I took time to record so that folks could watch and follow along.
Now watching the video with another cup of strong coffee…
At :52. Click on that reflection layer. hit “T” then lower then Opacity Number.
Then at 6:14, I talk about opacity in reflection.
Now when you said watch the video I watched the video @ page http://videohive.net/item/wedding-photos-slideshow/4565295 which lasts just over 4 mins I’m guessing this is not the video I should be watching, where is the video please?
Yes I have found the correct video. The video tutorial is downloaded when you buy it.. now watching another video…
It’s in the project file that you downloaded. The ZIP file. Probably a folder called tutorial.
Thank you Alix for supplying the video tutorail and a great composition, as wedding photography I love this type of stuff, keep up the good work, and thank you for helping out on an Easter Holiday!
Very beautiful work , congratulations , One question: Can I change all texts or are there on which I have no control? I ask this because I need it in Spanish,
Yes, the text is completely editable. Just be sure to download the free fonts so it looks the same. Let me know if you need anything else!
Thank you very much , very friendly, take this into account
Hey there -
Bought the template, love it, however, I’m getting a black line above some of the pics. Just curious if you know how I could fix it? I can email you a screen shot.
Thanks!
A screenshot would be great. Please send a message.
Is there any way to adjust the speed and make the animation go faster? I’d like to duplicate the 24 photos into 48, and fit them into the same 4 minute timing.
hey Alex first of all, let me say wedding photos slideshow is AWESOMEEE…just one little issue…is it possible to speed up the camera to cycle thru the photos faster??
Thank you! Unfortunately not as the project contains pre-rendered elements.
If my images are circular will this still work?
You would just have to scale them up to fill those frames. The frames will remain those shapes.
Okay thanks!
