Can it support more than the default 10 images?

There are only 10 placeholders for each style. Adding more is possible but would require advanced After Effects experience – this is not covered in the documentation.

The simplest way would be to duplicate your AEP file and render out different copies (in groups of 10), then import the renders into a new project. This way you can have an infinite number of images.
