Hello, I have a question, the map from Google is downloaded divided into squares with thin white stripes. Is it possible to remove them somehow? And the second question: When I download maps from bing, the generator starts, but nothing happens, a white window, and in the upper left corner is an icon of a broken image. I tried transferring it to another disk does not help
Hi, 1- You need to open the map image with Photoshop if you need to fix anything on it. The healing brush tool will help you to remove these lines easily. 2- The bing API key has expired. If you tell me what coordinate you need to zoom-in, I can generate map images with Bing for you.
Is it possible to update the key? To make bing work again

Thanks. I also found the title.aep. Another question, can the zoom in and out of the globe be shorter than 4 seconds? We have a duration limit on the video and the 4 seconds of flying in and out each time is just too long for us. Thanks.
I would render it as it is than import the rendered video and speed it up with timewarp
Another question, related to shorten the final rendering. How do I control the zoom out so it only zoom out only to the continent level instead of all the way to out of space? That would give us more room to edit the length of the video. Thank you!

Hi, something must be blocking the script connection. This could be firewall, anti-virus or a required permission on your OS. What coordinates you’re trying to zoom-in?
Hi, I’ve turned off firewall and antivirus. The issue is still here. I’m trying to zoom-in these coordinates 41.22910,-117.16808 This is open-pit mine called Twin Creeks gold mine in Nevada.
If the project files are on your desktop, try moving them to another drive, like D: or vice versa. The permissions on the operating system might cause this.

Hello MotionApe, I am using this AE template for a project at work and I’m really enjoying it. So powerful for the price. Nice job!
I’m wondering if you could recommend the best way to achieve the specific animation flow I am needing. Forgive me if you have explained this before and I missed it.
I would like to start at the intro scene from the satellite screen and then down to our 1st location. After a brief hold there, I would like to fly back up to the satellite and hold with the satellite in the foreground – I do not need to move into the screen again – just hold behind the satellite. While holding I’d love to have the planet rotate as I’m holding, then fly down into the 2nd location. Then, this repeats 2-3 more times for the additional locations around Earth.
I can think of ways of making this work by manually chopping things up and piecing them back together, but before I went down that road I wanted to see how you would accomplish this in the cleanest way.
Again, we love the template and I still can’t believe we paid so little for it. Thank you and keep up the great work!
Update: I was able to make the 3D render of the satellite from the opening scene work out for the transitions between locations, so I’m good there.
One additional question, and I’m hoping this is more simple. I am trying to find a way to adjust when the Earth’s rotation to the next scene is happening. I would like the rotation to occur while the zoom out is happening, as opposed to during the pause in outer space between the zoom out and zoom in.

Hello, thank you for your kind words and I’m glad you find a way to accomplish what you need. There is a setting called “Zoom-out Rotation” in the scene settings. Did you check it?
Thanks for your response. Yes, I did take a look at that setting. What I am after is a little different I think. I am referring to the rotation of Earth on its own axis.
By default that rotation begins once the camera has zoomed all the way out of one scene to line up the next scene’s location before zooming in again. I would like to have that rotation to occur while the camera is zooming out from the scene so that when the zoom out is complete the next scene’s location is already lined up and ready for the next zoom in.

Hi MotionApe, I’m curious if you have a solution for my above question. I realize the way I asked might be confusing.
What I am hoping to achieve is to have the Earth rotating into position for Location 2 while the camera is zooming out of Location 1. By default the rotation to Location 2 is happening once the camera is in outer space after it finishes the zoom out of Location 1. Can the rotation occur during the zoom out animation?

Hi, during the zoom in and out the map image layers must be in a straight order. In this way, we don’t see the transition between different levels of textures. Trying to rotate during this process creates serious visual problems like mismatched textures. This won’t work, I’m afraid.

I’ll try to contact him again next week since he’s on holiday. It is not easy to resolve this kind of problem because we cannot recreate the same conditions on our computers to get the same error. Many tests need to be performed. Will you use this tool frequently? If not, I can help you with the map images whenever you need.

At the very beginning of the “02 Generating map images” tutorials it’s shown how to open the project files. Video tutorials answer all your questions. There were more than 8000 users who watched them and created videos without any problems. Some of them had never used After Effects before.

For those who cannot generate map images on their computer, this instruction is for them. If you’re a new customer, you don’t need to follow this step. You only need to watch the video tutorials in the project files you’ve downloaded.
