Instruction:
1- Download the zip file.
2- Extract it into “Project Files\01 Ultimate Earth Zoom Toolkit\(Footage)\05 SOURCE\Images\Map Images\”
3- Don’t forget to update the “Coordinates” pre-comp.
If you need more map images, just let me know.

I went through your tutorials and have a question. Could I modify the parts (Part 01 – Part 06) in the Preview Source Files to make it similar to your Preview video? Is this possible? (I’m unfamiliar with after effects so I want to do it the easy way).
Actually, it is easier to edit the preview source files. Just update the coordinates and the content then render it.

If you have a firewall or antivirus software, try to disable them to see if it helps.

I didn’t get any problem. You can download the map images from the link below and extract it into the “Project Files\01 Ultimate Earth Zoom Toolkit\(Footage)\05 SOURCE\Images\Map Images” folder. Don’t forget to update the “coordinates” pre-comp.

I can run the map image creator and it works fine but do not show in the comp. Also the folders in the project do not update. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Probably you are extracting the zip file into the wrong folder. Please make sure you extract it into “01 Ultimate Earth Zoom Toolkit\(Footage)\05 SOURCE\Images\Map Images” folder and replace all the scene folders.
Just a warning to you all there is someone emailing asking for the API and purchase code for this template – I had an email this morning asking for them, and obviously refused by saying:
With all due respect, but no. The developer spent a lot of time and effort making this template. I worked hard to make the money to afford the template. So please be fair and purchase the template when you have the money!

You don’t need to adjust anything on Windows. But if you have a firewall or anti-virus software, maybe it blocks the connection.

I have 5 scenes. I need the first 4 to be short. I set zoom in and out 4 seconds each for those. I need the last scene to be 10 seconds. I set that? Is that all you need to do to adjust duration on the final composition?
My whole composition is still coming in at 1:45…trying to shorten it up.
You can use the “Timewarp” filter to speed up the rendered movie clip.
Thanks. Love this thing…coming out great. I used 4 placeholders for media in my last scene. I have 4 video clips each 10 seconds long(a little over what will play in the last scene). How do I set the start of the video clip? I can’t seem to get them all to start at the same time and thumbnail doesn’t match the first frame.

Hi, is there a way to take out the zoom out to earth before the next scene? I want to just go from location to location without going into space. I’ve watched all the tutorials and it isnt mentioned

Awesome template but I cannot even get to the registration step. When I select the item from the menu I get a blank panel and error that says “Unable to execute script at line 1107. File or folder does not exist.”

Hi, i have bought and installed your template on AECC 2018 on Windows 10. Registration and such went fine. I can open the interface to download the maps locations and enter the coords. they are put through to the coords folder just fine. When i choose either google or bing and press download i get the scriptwarning to not close the window, but the window never apears . Am i doing sumthing wrong?

After reading a lot of comments you suggest in another post to add “MapGenerator.exe” to the ecception list of the firewall, only when i search for that exe it isnt on my computer. should that file be somewhere?
ok lol solved. Virusprogram deleted the .exe. so this is fixed. Still need all the levels of the coords i sent in the first comment though. seems the source you use isnt the actual google earth so i het a lot of ‘sorry no immages form this place’ on the lower zoom levels.
Please double check your coordinates. Some of them are in the center of nowhere.
Theyre correct. its for a project where i need to zoom in on realy remote locations at sea. ive noticed that all locations on oceans are not mapped. Is there a way i can add in pieces of map by hand?
Yes, I think so. You can try to replace the images that has no content by hand
