Hi mate Need some help! How to extend the time of each scene? Thanks
Hi, You have to increase each Scene comp duration and extend all the layers in that comp. Also you have to adjust the camera keyframes in each scene. After that you have to adjust the timings of each scene in the Main Comp.
I need help, I am rendering, and it says 70 hours or more to render, is this correct?
It should me more like 70 minutes. Not more than that. What kind of video footages you are using in the project? If you use AVI videos After Effects may take time to render because of their heavy file sizes. Other reason could be loading your video files across network.
I am using .mts files with a dynamic link from Ppro. – I just tried an apple pro rez file, and it is slow too. Are there plugins used? I don’t get why it is slow. I render other files and it works great. I have a mac 5,1 with 2 gpu’s gtx680’s So it should sail.
I tried just rendering the file without anything added in on CC2014, and no luck. I am going to try my laptop. Can you send me a file already compatible with 2014? I wonder what is happening. I have a super fast mac, with 36gb ram, and 2 awesome cuda gpus. – I really want to use this in my project. I will let you know what the mac laptop does. – Or I can to Windows back to cs5.5
Hi, We checked the project in CC2014 in Windows and it says it will render the project is 4 to 5 hours. We tried rendering the same project we used for Rendering the Preview Video.
Try to update your CC2014 to latest version and see if it solves the issue. It shouldn’t take more than 6 or 7 hours.
Few other things that can slow down the render are…
Output file format and file location. If that is the case you can try rendering JPEG/PNG sequence.
Files in the External Hard drive. If that is the case move all the files to local folders.
In Mac sometime fonts causes rendering problems. So check your fonts.
Hey Thank you for your follow up and help. I ended up changing to a pro rez file, and it is working better. Now it says 2 hours! Yeah!
Good to know its working for you..
This is a great piece of work I purchase somewhat new at this process I have down load it but don’t have a program to open it working with mac book pro help please
I have replied to your email already
hi. how do you change the color of the text?
Check the textplaceholder layer’s effects. There will be an Effect called Coloroma. Open its “Output Cycle” Property. It will show you a color wheel in which lot of triangles will be there. Double click on each triangle and set the color.
You’ve done an excellent work my dear friend, i like it a lot Best Wishes!
