I want to buy this product, but I tried several times, and this site does not accept it. If there is another place to sell this product, inform me to buy it
This template is sold exclusively here on Videohive. If you are having trouble checking out, perhaps Envato’s customer service might be able to help.
i can not buy from evanto plz help me to buy from another plce
Envato is the only place I am selling this project. There is no other place.
PreSale Question: Greetings. Can I replace your character with my custom character (if body parts are named to match your naming convention)?
The project is not set up to do that, and the clothing and head are animated according to the existing characters.
I purchased your product. Impressive work. Is it possible to change colors to white and get a black outline (like a drawing effect)? See example: https://www.dropbox.com/s/esbjf0cnj4d0ab1/sample.png?dl=0
To do something like your image, you would need to change the colors to white or black, depending on your preference. But there are some shading colors in the project that aren’t set up to control easily. I’d recommend playing with saturation and contrast on the whole (As a top level adjustment layer, or nesting the character inside another comp and doing it there) and that might eliminate the blush, shadows, and highlights.
Some other options are in the answer below to nunziomavica’s similar question.
Hi, how to make the character do things outside of the given cheatsheet?
It’s not set up to do that easily, and would be quite involved since this is a very complex project. It would mean going into the precomps and creating new commands and animations. There’s a precomp for the face, precomps for an upper and lower arm, precomp for a hand, precomp for torso rotation, and a precomp for the main body. Then, in the main comp, there are expressions that reference the length of an animation and speed it up when necessary to make those precomp animations complete before the next animation marker. This animation length in the expression might cause problems.
If there is something specific you’d like the character to do, I might be able to add it as an option.
Is there a way to change head shape or body height? I want to create two different males that look like individuals?
The character can be scaled up as a whole, and you can do it disproportionately, with width and height separately by a small amount. That would get different characters to be slightly different sizes. As for head shape, it’s not set up to do that in a user friendly way, but it is doable. It would be a matter of finding the head shape layer and adjusting adjusting the points on the shape. Perhaps this is something I should offer in an update.
Is it possible to have the character holding a phone and have another hand pressing the phone as to pretend she is using the phone for mobile banking? And then the zoom-in phone with hands scene showing the mobile banking page on the phone? Thanks!
Yes. The second part, the zoom-in phone with hands scene showing the screen you want, is one of the things this project is designed for. The first part requires a few more steps. You can place a shape object, such as a rounded rectangle, in the character animator comp. If you unhide the shy layers, you can place it between the left and right hands. You can parent the phone to the character’s right hand, but it won’t track every position perfectly. Putting the right hand in a hold_02 position, and the right arm in a center position looks pretty good. The left hand can do a point_across command, and the left arm can go from center to hip, or repeat the center command to get a small arm motion. Here’s a sample of what I just did: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1L-m8vjbpthS-qQmulcgywV-twGw4RDoz/view?usp=sharing And here’s the commands I used. The video starts 8 frames in to these commands, as the phone didn’t track the hand perfectly before then. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SHoEfruChecayQ7hMq4bOvLtCwdk-p4B/view?usp=sharing
Hi Mindy, Great project here. I’m trying to have a man and woman in one scene interacting with each other like in your demo. Whats the best way to do that?
For the demo, I put the animation comps for each character inside another comp. The project includes much of the demo, so you can see how it was done.
Thanks! Is it possible to have a scene with two or three men interacting?
Yes, but there’s a few steps to take so that the character choices don’t interfere. Step 1, change the names of 4 comps. Change the name of “Character Animator-Man” to Character Animator-Man1”. Do the same making Character Designer-Man” to “Character Designer-Man-1” Do the same for Animator and Designer for the woman. Step 2, save the project as something like “Characters 1”. Step 3. Rename those same four comps with a 2 instead of a 1. Step4. Save the project as “Characters 2”. Step 4. Rename those four comps with a 3. Step 5. Save the project as “Characters 3. Step 6. Open a new comp. Import a file and select those three new project files you just made. Now (hopefully) you will have three sets of male/female characters whose design and animation choices won’t interfere with each other.
And then create a new comp and you can place “Character Animator-1” and “Character Animator-2” etc inside that comp. You will animate your characters in their Character Animator comps, but you can see them all together in your new comp.
That worked! Thanks so much. I wanted to have one man holding an object. Can I edit the hold_01 in the left/right hand comp to add it there?
Maybe. You can look in the hand comp and see how I did it for holding the phone. But every hand position in and out of the hold_01 position would need the object. And that might be overwhelming. It might be easier to put the object in the animator comp and parent it to the hand. Or…. I don’t remember what hand shape I used for holding the phone, but you might be able to replace the phone with your object inside the hand comp.
ok thanks!
Hello, is there any possibility to add logo on characters cloth.
Do you mean like a name tag or badge that would rotate properly with the character’s torso? Or do you mean like the fabric would have a pattern to the cloth? The first one is doable with a few steps. The second one isn’t.
Yes the first one. Can you send me steps.
I’ll give the instructions for the man. You can do the same with the woman. 1.Twirl down precomps>Precomps for Man>Top Level Character Layers>Man Torso perspective precomp. Open this comp. 2. The layer named “action” will show you what command the torso is animating with it’s marker names. With the Current Time Indicator (CTI) at 0, (the action is “center>center”) place your logo/nametag at the scale and position and rotation you’d like it to be. Place a marker for Position, scale, and rotation. Make the keyframe interpolation a temporal hold. 3. Go to the time 1 sec. This is where the action marker says “center>left”. Place another set of markers on the position, scale and rotation. The torso is still at center position, so these keyframes should be the same as the ones at time zero. 4. Go to the time 1 sec 12 frames. This will be the torso rotated to the character’s left. Adjust the nametag/logo to where it looks right. I would guess you would want to adjust it slightly to the characters left (your right), slightly up, and rotated very slightly. You might also want to scale it down a tiny bit. When you have it looking the way you want, the keyframes should all be there. Drag to highlight the keyframes for position, rotation, and scale at 1 sec AND at 1 sec 12 frames. Make all six of these keyframes have a bezier temporal interpolation. (F9 should make them all bezier, but you can also right click and make the temporal keyframe interpolation to bezier.) Then make the three keyframes at 1 sec 12 frames a hold (after having made them a bezier so that they will be paced the same as the clothing.) 5. The next action marker at 2 sec has a comment “left>left”. If you’ve put a hold at the previous keyframes, you don’t need to do anything here. 6. The next action marker is at 3 seconds and has a comment “left>center”. Place keyframes for position, rotation, and scale of your logo/nametag at their current values. 7. Go to the time 3 seconds and 12 frames. This is the time at which the torso should finish it’s animation back to center. Click and drag to select and highlight the keyframes at 1 sec (where the torso is at center), then copy (CTRL+C) them and paste (CTRL +V) them. The keyframes from 1 sec should now be copied to the current time of 3 seconds. Click and drag to select the 6 keyframes at 3 seconds and 3 seconds 12 frames. F9 to make the all bezier. Click and drag and boz to select the 3 keyframes at 3 seconds and 12 frames and make those three a hold. 8. Repeat the above steps for the animations to the right. Hopefully you get the idea.
IF YOU MAKE ANY CHANGES to any of the three animation positions (center, left, or right), make sure to copy the position, rotation, scales to the other points in time that have the same animation positions. Then I would recommend click and dragging around any keyframes that have changed, F9 to make them all bezier in temporal interpolation, and then make the keyframes that are 12 frames after a second into a hold.
Thank you I will try and update you if I have any questions.
Thanks a lot it worked.
Great!!!
Pre-Sales Question: Is it possible to adjust the templates to create kids?
It’s not set up that way, but you could scale the head up relative to the body. It would involve toggling the shy switch to reveal all the layers and unlocking the appropriate head layer. At some point I might update the template for child options and suitable clothing and hair.
Hi does it work with after effects 2020 ?
Projects made with older versions should open and run with the newer After Effects versions. I just haven’t updated the description of the project to indicate capatibility.
Ho do I render with an alpha without the green background?
Make sure the video output is set to “RGB + Alpha” in the render settings. Not every video codec option supports the RGB+ alpha option, but several do.
Is the skin color editable?
Yes. Skin, hair, eyes, clothing, etc. have easy color controls set up for each character.
think you very match for this amazing project, can you please add traditional clothes for arabic men
Glad you like the project, and thank you for purchasing! I won’t be able to focus on an update immediately, but will work on soon.
ok think you very match
The project has been updates with some clothing options for arabic men.
think you very match my brother
How do I add for example multiple females or males to my projects that look different? I’ve tried making copies of the woman and changing her style and it doesn’t work.
Thanks for purchasing the project. I sent you a reply to your message via email. Let me know if you didn’t receive it.
Hello, i have a pre-sale question : it is possible to hide eyes and mouth ? I would just like the eyebrows. Thank you
Yes, but it would take a couple of pretty simple steps. First, you would have to un-hide the layers with the shy switch. Then toggle visibility off for the layers for eyes and mouth.
Pre – sale Question
Does this toolkit have documentation, am new to after effects and i would like to learn on you template wen i buy.
Thank you for considering my project template. There is a PDF help file included with the purchased files. There is also a video tutorial link with the item description page. You can watch video before you buy to give you an idea of how to use the project.
Wonderful, i have seen the video, on what i expect and to me its seems so very Good, the PDF do you provide it on purchase or i can have it even before i purchase? if i can have it then i can drop you my email ID
The PDF help documentation is inside the folder you will download when you purchase.
Where does the voices come from? is it part of template?
The voices are not part of the template. You can record your own voiceover and follow the instructions to lip sync the animation.
Does it work with CC 2017?
It should. I don’t have CC, so I can’t confirm specifically, but templates made in older versions of AE are usable in newer versions. I just haven’t updated the project description to include the latest version of CC.
Great animation template
DUIK will generate those pop-up notifications if you have a different version of DUIK. You do NOT need to have DUIK installed to use the template or render out your video. Just ignore the pop-up notifications.
Hi I have bought your template but it is showing that i am missing some effects. I installed latest version of duik plugin and activated it. But still the error exists. Please tell me how to solve it.
You should be able to ignore the pop-up notification. Duik shouldn’t be needed to use the template, but it does generate a pop-up warning.
It would be really helpful to have a visual representation cheat sheet of the pose/end state for each of the animation commands. For example t’s quite tricky to remember the actual difference between lean_L, pivot_L and relax_L.
That’s a good idea. I will see about adding that. Thanks!
Can I make the girl have bigger boobs? (I’m not joking, this is a real question.)
Yes, but the project is not set up with a controller for that. Changing torso shape would affect each possible shirt choice, jacket choice, and possibly some accessories. I will have to look at it and see what’s possible and how it looks. What size are you thinking?
The project file is now updated to have a chest control option for the female character. That slider control is in the character design comp with the other style choices.
