A simple After Effects project file using Trapcode Particular to generate a semi-realistic cloud fly through scene.
There are 2 versions of the scene in the project, each one set up with different levels of detail to effect their realism/render speed. One ‘Normal Quality’ scene that uses Spheres as particles and renders pretty quickly, and another ‘High Quality’ scene that uses Cloudlets, looks more detailed, but takes a lot longer to render and should only really be used for short sequences or on a really powerful computer.
Sliders have been set up to enable you to easily the edit the complexity of the scene, the turbulence of the clouds, particle size and density, and even add camera shake and flight speed.
The file’s are set up to render videos that are 2:00 but of course that can be changed to as short or as long as required.
Animate the camera to add rotation, or use the sliders on the control layer to animate realistic camera shake.
