Buenas, compre el pluggins y lo instale como manda las instrucciones y no me deja usarlo, cuando confirmo en el paso 4 se me creal un controller en blanco sin efectos predeterminados

Hello OnlyPromoRD, are you using AE in English version? If not, try to switch AE to English version and give it a try. Please note that this plugin only supports AE in English verision.

Does this not work on the latest versions of after effects because the controller wont pop up. please help.

Mark as solved.

Hello Lightdust, I have a quick question about the script. When I click the focus button it does not set a keyframe down. What parameter in After Effects is the focus button supposed to be affecting? Is it the focus distance in the locked camera layer? Because it seems like the focus button on the script may not be working with the newest version of After Effects.

Lightdust, after experimenting, I have found what seems to be the underlying issue. The focus button in the script does work if I select a non composition layer first.

If I use the focus button to snap focus on a photoshop layer/png/etc the keyframe will correctly be set. However, if the first keyframe you are trying to place down is a precomp, it will not set down a keyframe. After the first keyframe is placed, you can then select compositions the same as any other still layer. So I should be able to work around that. But I did want to give you some feedback because that was hard to figure out for awhile.

Hello KSherretz, thank you very much for this feedback. This is something I have missed, and I’m glad you figured out a workaround for now. I will also put this into the to-do list for future updates. Thank you again for the feedback.

hi I just purchased paralight and cant find the download for the program. i was sent pdf fles and video tutorials.. purchase serial codes but no program. thank you.

Hi battlefART, if you check the right corner and get the drop down menu, you may see a download option. Click that then you should have a download page that allows you to download it again. Let me know if that works.

I purchased this but am unable to get it to run with AfterEffects CC 16.1 (2019), 15.1.2 (2018), and 14.2.2 (2017). We are getting a “Unable to execute script at Line 490. Function Alert is undefined.” error.

Hi PeterCarlson, this is the first time I got this error, so while I am diving into the code, would you mind to check sth on your side? here are a couple of things to check:

1. Did you make sure you put the script in the scriptUI panel(not the script panel)? 2. Did you try to restart after effects after installation? 3. Did you make sure “Edit> preference > general >allow scripts to write Files and Access Network is checked? 4. Did you make sure you selected the composition in project panel (not in the timeline panel) and then hit the “confirm” button?

Try those and please let me know if it is still not working. You are welcome to send me the project file through 315791599@qq.com if you would like to. I’d love to help anytime.

Strapped for Cash right now but this really is a beautiful script. Love it and will save the pennies to get it…

I’m just now playing around with ParaLight, and—I like it. Cheers!

Thank you! Cheers:)

Hello. I believe I purchased this in mistake. I was under the impression that you didn’t need to provide a layered image to have this AE script work. I was thinking this could be applied to flat images and the script would do the rest. I cannot use this. Is there a refund offered for this?

Thanks for the quick and fair reply. I have tried it with a layered file. Taught myself how. However, new issue…AE is stating and “expression error” and when I follow along with you in your tutorial user video, there are a bunch of functions that do not exist on my screen that you seem to have. Are you able to advise on this? Is the script unable to run with version 14.2.1.34 ?

Are you using AE in English version? If so, do you mind sending me the project file so that I can check it for you? The script hasn’t got any version issues reports before, but I would love to check it out for you if possible. You may send your project( please collect project file) to the supporting email 524991456@qq.com

Thank you I will send now. I am using the English Version of AE.

Hi I cant seem to find a way of using it on After Effects layers not photoshop. I precomposed the layers

Hey atvideo, it should work even you precomposed the layers as long as you select the composition in project panel( not in the timeline panel). So here’s some of the questions I have that might help you find the answer:

1. Did you try to restart after effects after installation? This is the main reason some users didn’t get it work.

2. Did you make sure “Edit> preference > general >allow scripts to write Files and Access Network is checked?

3. Did you make sure you selected the composition in project panel (not in the timeline panel) and then hit the “confirm”button?

Try those and please let me know if it is still not working. You are welcome to send me the project file through 315791599@qq.com if you would like to. I’d love to help anytime.
