The main comp refuses to add any layers to groups
I guess you try to link layers to groups with just drag and drop. Layer Manager links layers properly, don’t worry. But if you just do drag’n’drop, then there won’t be visible effect. To make sure that the link was created, change any property of the group.
It was made to improve UX in sustain working.
If you want to apply property of groups on link creation please hold Shift button.
How to create links?
- Drag and drop layers on group to create link.
- Hold Shift + drag and drop to create link and apply properties of group to linked layers.
Can you apply effects on groups? For example apply a curve effect just on group1?
Currently this feature is unavailable but we plan to implement it in the next update (which will be available in couple weeks)
