This map kit is by far one of the best documented and offers open ended solutions. Installation has changed for the latest version of AE (v16), location of PresetEffects.xml has changed, so this file will need to exist in 2 places… default for v16 and a copy of this needs to reside where the documentation says to look for. Thank you for this kit.

Hi there, I have re-opened this in AE 15.1.2 and I’m having problems installing the script. Its just not recognising it? Will this script work with this version? cheers

I am getting that it cannot write to preseteffects.xml as well. I didn’t get this when I purchased the map but since then I have reinstalled my OS etc. Now I have no effects.

I see you have code to paste into this file but this code is no longer available.

Problem on MAC High Sierra 10.13.6 / AE CC 15.1.2: After installation (IMKv2.jsxbin in folder ScriptUI Panels and Text added to PresetEffects.xml as described) I can use the IMKv2 panel and create a 3D line. But there’s no effect available (effect controls empty). Any idea?

I have installed the IMKv2.jsxbin script following your instructions, however when I go to open the IMKv2 panel in After Effects is is completely blank. I have read other people have had this problem and fixed it, but no one mentioned HOW they fixed it. Please help!

Hello, just purchased this and am excited to use in our company broadcast design. Unfortunately, I’m getting the same error every time I go to make a 3D line in the IMKv2 Script: “After Effects error: internal verification failure, sorry! {unexpected match name searched for in group} ( 29 :: 0 )”
