I’m trying to get the countdown from the 9min template changed to 7min and I can’t see where to do that anywhere in the inspector. Please check your email.
I’ve answered on your email!
Very nice work! Good Luck!
Thank you so much!
Is there a way to get the Roll Countdown (Minutes) start at a number other than 59? I’m trying to create a 10 minute countdown and I can’t find a way to do that without creating an hour-long video and then cutting off the first 50 minutes. Also, on my “Seconds” Roll Countdown, it’s completely missing the second “5” in the number “55”. How can I fix this?
Unfortunately not, the only way to do it is way in which you’ve used (cropped a one hour composition).
I’ve checked my files and I have all numbers for all counter parts in the “Roll Countdown” section.
Maybe you can send me a screen shot or movie in order to show it?
Please, send on this mail firstname.lastname@example.org
Okay. I just sent you a screen recording. Let me know what you think.
HI thanks for FLIP COUNTER ,,, I followed the very helpful tutorial,,, nice ,,, but you didn’t show how to make the timer work with the timeline i’m trying to make a 5min countdown timer to zero and the numbers don’t move except the first animation then its static for the rest of the numbers help help help I even dragged the Fcp timecode filter onto it and not a sausage ,,, if you can get back to me ASAP I have 6 hours before live streaming starts ….. tick tick tick tock…
panicking now !!
still no reply from you ,,, ive sent personal email with photos to you , re timings
its 6pm UK .. STILL NOT A CLUE ….
Sorry for the late reply. It was a big weekend here, sorry.
In order to create countdown you need to use four seated tables inside flip countdown folder, Minutes 5-0, Minutes 9-0, Seconds 5-0, Seconds 9-0. Each file pre made and pre animated, so you need just to put it on the footage or background and then position them.
I’ve explained it in the tutorial (timecode 0:25 to the end)
Ok thanks for getting back ,, but its a bit too late, i missed my live stream deadline of Sat at 6, I wanted to look professional with a nice countdown intro to start,,, so i’m looking at what you said hummm ,,, and i’m under the impression I have to build the timer up myself from the individual numbers ,, is that right ?,,
I wouldn’t want a template that I would have to sit and build up my all the elements myself,, I want it ready to go, just populate the numbers you want and let it run, simples, instead I get one flip and then nothing hahaha ,,, I could of made one myself the time i’ve taken to try to get this thing to work ,,,,OH and where is the millisecond and the hour and days digits counter HELLO ,,,, that was the hole reason to buy this flipping counter, it had or so I believe everything I needed set a time one or two days before the stream and let it countdown begin am I missing something I don’t just want minutes and seconds I needs days hours minutes and second and most of all milliseconds ,,,, your graphs work is outstanding nice work but its not what it says on the tin Denis, maybe if you add a FULLY WORKING offline FCP or MOTION file or files that is fully running it might of helped me or someone else out ,,, I could of just used the built in Final Cut pro timecode generator and just reverse the ting …. I just sat here fasting with it taking the 9sec element and speeding it up X20 times to get some sort of milliseconds effect hahaha may be i’m wrong if so I apologise but I see no easy fix for this ,,, you have my email send me an Fcp x or motion 5 file for 5mins with milliseconds running and ill be somewhat happy to plug and play …
In the end I created my own in 10mins sorry your was too longwinded when I have time I will make my own flipping countdown counter
Yours was wonderful but not easy to use ,, I would suggest you ship it with ready made 10min 5min 1hr files or may be a quicktime movie you can crop and go … or let people know its not a quick template ,,, your video presentation sales pitch spot on ,,, but the template very disappointing it a shame I would of love to use your flipping counter if you make it work as advertise till then ill request a refund …
Thank you for your review! I’ve made it in this way in order to give customers opportunity to create something unique which will fit to their projects. Maybe it’s a good idea of pre rendered counters and countdowns, but it isn’t so flexible.

Thanks Denis, I looks at many and yours was the best i’ve seen for Final Cut Pro X & Motion ,, just wist I had the time to set it up ,,, if you could make a template of 10 min not 9:59:24 but 10:00:00 I’m sure it would help others ,, and I know it would be most helpful to have some flexibility ,, as I wanted my timer not to be face on but at a sight falling angle,, if you could sent me a working file with digits & milliseconds working ill be happy to keep the template and for-go the refund as I would very much like to use it in my upcoming events as it is a cool looking template .. ... thanks for your time and sorry for the hassle … best regards Ron
Sure, no problem, I’ll send you an alpha file on your email!
Hi, I love the look of the animation! Just wondering if I could do a countdown from 100 to 50 for example in the flip motion?
No, this is a pre made animation with ability to add only first and end value.
Hi I am trying to use this to create a counter that starts on zero then counts up to 12 weeks – with the first 2 digits counting hours to 24, then the next digit counting the days up to seven then the last 2 digits counting up the weeks until 12. START: 00 0 00 END: 12 0 00 Is this possible? Steve
No unfortunately, this item contain several pre made templates with different animations but all of them shows first and end values.
Also it contains one hour timer and countdown (and some elements like one minute timer and countdown).
So, that is’t possible with this template, unfortunately.
Thanks but that makes it unusable for me. It’s a bit misleading when the images for the product show a counter with ‘months’ ‘days’ ‘hours’ etc. Could I get a refund please. Steve
