beautiful work on this for a fire transition wipe; I like the detail of the flames, good job on it – thx!

Nice work mate, well done 8-)

good job mate , great transition !

Nice project man! :)

really nice work. would it be easy to modify your file to make the wipe so that it is more organic? in other words, instead of a straight-edge vertical wipe, give the wipe some irregularity with its shape. it would be really cool if the shape changed as the wipe progresses across the screen so that it looks even more lifelike.

Thanks fellas!

9mm – Thanks! About your question – I’m not sure that what you want will be very easy to make, but for sure, write me an e-mail with more information about your question and I will give you more detailed answer.

Hi i have a big question, this is for use only with AE or can be use the fire transition with Final Cut PRO ?

Hey,
Thanks for your interest! You can use it, but you need to use only the fire (included .mov file), and to set your Scene A (to disappear) and Scene B (to show) exactly at the moment when the fire pass through the footage, buy using masks or linear transiton with small feather.

not bad considering you used the video copilot tutorial

Thanks for your comment, but nothing of the kind from VCP tuts ;)

Can you explain how to change the color of the flames please.

Hey,
Thanks for your interest!

It’s very easy.

1. Open the AE file file
2. Go to project panel and open “Main_Transition” Comp
3. Go to Layer > New > Adjustment Layer
4. Add Hue/Saturation Effect on the Adjustment Layer that you create from step 3 and rotate the Master Hue knob from Effect Controls Panel, to change the color of the fire ;)

That’s all.

Feel free to write me if you still have any questions.

Regards,
Jacko
