Is there any way to turn off the background layer and create a clear alpha version of these titles? Thanks
There is no such option but you can make background color black and then apply Unmult plugin or Xmult or Unmult preset over the top. it will remove black color and so you will have your version with alpha. You can find Unmult preset in Effects and Presets Tab > *Animation Presets > Image Utilities > Alpha from Lightness (Unmult). Hope it helps, good luck.
