Hi. I am interested in your 3D Popup Book toolkit. I would like to purchase a character kit like this to use with it: https://videohive.net/item/explainer-video-toolkit-3/18812448 Will that work? I dont understand how I will import characters into your 3D Popup Book Project. What file will I import from? I will import the entire explainer character toolkit? Wont it have scripts and clothing elements i need? I dont think there will be just one comp of a competed character. Or do I have to save a video of the character? It wont have a transparent background. Please advise. Thank you.
Hey there,
you can import images (pngs or ai files), mov´s (with an alpha channel) or even compositions from another After Effects project that contain animations. So, there are no limits. It is totally up to you.

I’m having issues. I tried to extract it & I receive errors. I go into the zip folder & bring all contents out, into a new folder, try to open it & it states error the contents aren’t there, in Adobe After Effects. I have the most updated After Effects. What am I doing wrong?
Here is what you can do. First of all please check the size of the zip file. It should be 1.81GB, if you have a different file size please re-download the package.
Another thing you can do. The downloaded zip file has a pretty long file name. Something like this: “videohive-19845454-3d-popup-book-toolkit-featuring-mister-cake-toolkit-story-construction-set“. This is a generated name given by videohive. Please shorten it to something like „3dpopupbook“ or maybe something even shorter. After that please start to unzip the file again. This often helps on a windows computer.
